Ross County fans think he was awful up there though, so who knows. IMO He's been a little underwhelming and only shows it in flashes rather than being consistently decent. Still a year left on his deal apparently though.

Championship is a massively enjoyable league, far more competitive than the Premiership. Glad it's finally confirmed now rather than hanging over our heads

If you lot were in our position, maybe it's somewhat understandable? But for Motherwell it's a fairly meaningless game unless you strongly value the 7th place finish

Only thing you could have a go at Spittal this season for is his brother being a dodgy so and so Surely he's been your best player without much competition

It was given for the 'foul', definitely wasn't offside. The fact they think it's a foul is laughable, defender just throws himself down in front of the ball

That's an awful awful decision. How the f**k can you justify not sending that to VAR. It's not a foul in the build up, it's not offside.

Yeah, he's got a decent bit on his deal. Then again none of us have any clue who's on relegation release clauses, but given he signed in January when we knew there's a good chance of going down you'd think it unlikely. May have fallen out with Martindale though with his red for kicking water bottles at Tynecastle after being subbed

I can only really remember one Livi fan having a proper argument with Callum Carson, I wonder if that's the same person we're dealing with here Would make a lot of sense actually given they're also fairly publicly critical of Ward and Martindale too.

Really hoping this is Nottingham saying the club has the option on him and he'd like to stay, rather than the horrifying alternative. He's absolutely shocking. In part a lot of Nottingham and Devlin's woes have come by trying to carry Obileye through games though IMO. It's just glaringly obvious those previous two are not a Fitzwater, Guthrie or anywhere near as competent. Though I'd rather not see any of that back three hang around.

Holt at times can definitely be that, but he's being forced into the dirty work by Brandon and Pittman's inability to do it. Someone like a Carson in there gives him the opportunity to open up a bit. Not that it really matters when the defence behind any of them are conspiring to throw the game away at every single opportunity. I really do feel for the sods that end up with Obileye or Devlin after this season. Nottingham as well.

That's also a midfield core devoid of any playmaking quality. Brandon for me hasn't been great at CM and Pittman's legs look done (before you get to the point of his better work being done historically further forward). He won't do it but I'd far rather see Carson-Holt-Sangare in the middle.

So, any updates so far on how it's gone/going?
