It was always going to happen  when you prioritise every other position except defence. McNeil who threw in a shit ton of goals when he played for Edinburgh City. But hey that’s not a problem. You can tell Easton wants away with that display AGAIN.

State of this. Maybe lay of the stardog for a bit champ. McNeil was absolutely fine in goal. That is an absolutely fucking ridiculous thing to say about Dylan Easton. If you can't handle the odd defeat f**k off and support old firm or some epl team.

Looks like the Andy Halliday links ain’t going away and tbf I don’t see it here he fits in this team

Would pleased if he signs. Probably would start at LB ahead of Dick and could play CM when any of Brown/Byrne/Stanton are unavailable.

Really not fussed about O'Reilly. Was a good short term signing but never really improved our defence.

Anyone can buy that merchandise. Your owners are actually the ones that sell it - in their Soccer Shop Direct (or whatever it’s called) shop, so it’s publicly available. Owning the merchandise and having a ticket for the North West stand does not make you a member of the supporters group.

Nobody is denying that those involved in the assault on Monday are cretins and the behaviour is completely unacceptable. But I don’t understand why you and a few others seem desperate to pin this on a supporters group.

SNW need to improve their behaviour in the stadium, we’ve all agreed on that. But that doesn’t make them responsible for the disgusting attack on Monday.

What owners sell this gear? Hope whoever it is has a re-think. Aye maybe anyone can buy the gear but no one is buying it and posing for pics in it on their socials unless they are part of the gang.

You say you don't understand why people seem desperate to pin this on snw? It is because the attackers clearly associate with the supporters group. No-one can reasonably deny this given the pics of them in the gear and behind the flags.

Decent folk simply looking to support their club should disband their group? Nah.

Rovers have their moronic element too. Should we stop encouraging the decent supporters because some belters hang about the same area?

Well if I was simply a decent person trying to support my club I would certainly disband any group which I had created if it was bringing shame to the club.

Yes we have plenty of morons in our support but they aren't all in a big gang which is endorsed and given special privilege by the club.

I wasn't there but did 200 fans really get battered outside a pub?

Na, about 10 of them got battered then the rest of them shat it.

and despite some Raith fans best attempts the assault case has nothing to do with SNW.

Pish. The cretins who carried out the assault clearly were part of the SNW. They sat in that part of the stadium, posed for pics behind snw banners and posted pics of themselves in snw merchandise.

It's fun to slag off SNW's tifo attempts as part of the rivalry and have a bit of to and fro on the days surrounding the game but I can't believe that the folk who put plenty of time into their displays for their club are involved with or condone the trouble.

These type of folk tend to want to preserve and enhance the reputation of their club. Offering to pay for the damage to Kieren's belongings is a great gesture and I'd hope that the daft wee hingers on who jumped the poor lad will be treated like the outcasts that they are.

Totally disagree on this. Every game we have played at kdm in recent years our players have been getting pelted with objects from their section of the ground. Last game at Starks about 200 of these SNW muppets marched along The Links looking for trouble before they got leathered outside the Estuary.

Even if the leaders of the group have the best of intentions the group clearly attracts the most moronic elements of their support and if they had any decency they would surely disband their silly little gang after Saturdays incident.

Well we made it competitive which was what I was wanting before the game and from there see if we can sneak something. We started the game well but after 10/15 mins rovers were the better team and deserved to be ahead. All the guys around me had resigned themselves that rovers would grab a second the way the game was going. Fair play to Summers to give the team a lift out of nowwhere with a wee bit of magic.

What is frustrating is losing 2 goals from set pieces against a rovers team who arn't particularly big.  After losing 2 cbs again we did ok but miss real quality up front. Most of the second half was a carbon copy of the 0-1 game at east end where we couldn't break down an organised rovers side while they lacked a bit of quality on the break to kill the game. Frustating we couldnt test the keeper more but thats down to rovers pretty solid defending along with our lack of quality. I think we have only scored 11 goals at home in 9 games(need to check that when I get home)

As a side note I have noticed that most of the songs rovers fans sing seem to be about the pars which I quite enjoy.

    🤣

Raith fans describing a team sitting 2nd in the Championship pre-xmas having won f**k all as 'incredible' shows how success starved they are.

Make no mistakes had Dodds not been so abject to allow Raith to end their hoodoo last time out, confidence would have collapsed when we went ahead as history has shown over the last 23 years. Raiths win is as much down to Billy Dodds as their own team.

🤣 slavering hoor. Hope you enjoy Big Dunc taking your mighty club down to league 1

I agree on this. Serving up players is one thing but exposing a supporter to online slaggings just for being passionate about his team is not professional and it is childish. I was looking forward to that inside matchday video as they have been a nice addition to the great stuff Rovers were already putting out, but there was loads more to show in the game than that.

Don’t fancy cameras on me waiting to see me go mental from rival media teams at games and I can imagine other teams will start it if this is how we are carrying on. I know some folk aren’t bothered but others could be. They’ve paid their money to watch a game, not to put up with that. Maybe that is what gets the big numbers on these sorts of places but it’s not really the club I want us to be.

Got to say I would rather we showcased the goings on the pitch on official channels. Running our media like that will eventually lead to folk looking foolish, and it already happened today when we put out a statement about pyro yet pyro was our full time picture on Friday. Felt like we pandered to it until someone nearly got hurt.

Ffs lighten up. The only thing childish is the clown throwing a tantrum like a 3 year old because his team just missed a chance when they were already well beat in the game. If he is not wanting caught on camera acting in such a manner he should maybe not sit in the one place in the stadium where you're most likely to be captured.

Right lads, we’ve got a local derby today, 3 points up for grabs, you’ll get the crowd support, some more money in your account and the likelihood to keep your place for next week.  Also one of their players made a gesture you’ll see all the time towards our fans.

You really think the last point makes a difference?

Your team's manager pinned it up on the dressing wall that the Rovers twitter said '7th placed Dunfermline'

That must have made a huge difference because you were actually quite competitive in that game

Also a bad dive by Ross Millen for your third.

A dive that leads to us scoring directly from the free kick is far from a bad dive.

A few off your off field staff are based around Dunfermline, Andy Barrowman has a buisness in Rosyth and John Potter is from here with most of his family still residing around here,

Aye right enough. I suspect they are in and out all the local boozers telling any punter who will listen how much coin they are making along the road at the Rovers.

There's a bit of envy, agreed. I wish we were 2nd in the league playing good football. Things are looking good along the road. Just disagree that you're doing it on a shoestring budget, that's all.

No-one claiming we are doing it on shoestring budget. We will have a similar budget to recent seasons. McGlynn was well backed in his last two seasons.

This year our home attendances have been sometimes double what they were in same fixtures last year, record shirt sales, and its been said our hospitality and sponsorship incomes have increased.

We've just shipped out one of our highest earners for rest of season when we can't even fill our bench so clearly there is some effort being made to balance the books and new owners are not just throwing money at a title push
