Yeah the 90 min bigots narrative and casual sectarianism is somehow seen as acceptable by erse cheek fans that sing their songs.
I don't think you can totally dismiss Scotland's religious intolerance when it has Orange Orders, they are as much anti Catholic as pro Protestant, and delight in taunting Catholics with their marches, the trying to burst their drum when passing a Catholic Church patter being a well known practice.
Fair point about the orange walks.
A very bizarre and pathetic group of people. Baffling they are allowed to exist in 2024.

Aye, it’s mental to us outwith that bubble.
Aberdonian and at about 13/14 had to fill in a form at school with a space for ‘Religion’. Knew Church of Scotland was on my baptism certificate but had to ask my father what religion that actually was. Not a scooby.
Mate moved to Glasgow and hadn’t even got their van emptied before ‘welcoming neighbour’ asked which church would they be going to.
Riles me right up that sectarianism is seen as a Scottish issue when whole swathes of the country are immune to it and couldn’t give a shiny shite.
Controversial opinion, but I dont think genuine sectarianism is actually a problem in Scotland, its a Rangers-Celtic thing that crosses the line of acceptable rivalry but isnt actually anything to do with religion per se.
Both sides of my family are Catholic. Mums side are mostly Rangers (most dont give a f**k about football tbf), dads side is Thistle. Never once had any anti-catholic or sectarian bile thrown my/their way.
The stuff both halves hit out with is unacceptable, no question. But ive never believed its routed in genuine sectarianism or religious intolerance, just anti Celtic/Rangers sentiment using religion as a medium.
Maybe just my experience though.

A wee Desmond.
And Celtic have taken McGregor, Hatate and Kyogo all off.
Pleasing.

Punishable by being sentenced to 6 months in Aberdeen.

He's not the player he was a few years ago, but Forrest is still Celtic's best wide player imo.
Don't get why he doesnt play more.
Miles better than that Yang jobber.

What's the deal with the Celtic asian players & gum shields?
Theyve looked around, seen the nick of their supporters teeth and are just taking precautions in case the brown stained, half gummy mouth look is contagious

Working together for B teams
Working together for tours of Australia
Working together to hamstring the rest of Scottish football
Working together to clamp down on the rancid behaviour of their fanbase

Weird that there’s no Morton players in there. Must be a mistake surely?
I think youre forgetting theyve had a remarkable season by their standards.
They nearly challenged for challenging for the promotion playoffs
They nearly achieved safety before the last few games
They nearly had a good cup run
They had a manager who looked decent for about a quarter
And now they nearly, maybe had players possibly in contention for TOTY.
All in, get the DVDs at the ready.

He's a fucking horrible c**t that Martinez.
Wary of going full TalkSport here, but why is it always South Americans that act like this?
I fucking love him.
A piss boiler of a goalkeeper that can back it up is class.
Jordan Pickford tries to do similar stuff but he's shite playing for relegation fodder so just looks like a p***k doing it.

Just catching up but I can only assume my LiveScore app is playing up because i dont see the Rangers penalty anywhere?
Surely the ref wasn't careless enough to not award them their usual emergency penalty when theyre not in a commanding lead?
Statement incoming...

There's not been a right back worthy of being included. Please don't @ me with any 90s plumberball era frauds
The type of patter that they "have to have a Prem team to be a real football fan" wanks hit out with.
Type of guys that think Iniesta is/was shite because he didnt score that many goals.

I'm surprised people are surprised that Arsenal bottled it.
It's surprising.
More surprising is thon Panda boy not backing down but indeed doubling down that Andy fucking Robertson is the best left back to ever play in English football.
Utterly obscene. When the panel get together to judge P&B's wildest quotes of 2024, there's strong, strong contenders in this topic, like.
Its really not that wild a shout if its EPL era only.
He's easy in the top 5 in that time. Maybe top 3?
The wildest shout Ive heard this season is Darren Bent suggesting Darwin Nunez for POTY. A genuinely baffling shout.

He was loathsome, but Ashley Cole was consistently excellent too. Cant really be arsed doing a like for like stats comparison but gut would say theres not much in it between those two.
Bizarrely cant think of many elite left backs, nature of the position and/or my memory and/or not being overly arsed about elite football. Evra springs to mind, was a great player and all but dunno if hes better than Cole/Robertson.
Dennis Irwin.

The only thing to better it would be if they were greetin’ over their ‘Salah can I have your shirt’ cardboard signs.
A fad that needs to die.
Should be a collective effort by all players to ignore they wee c***s.

It's absolutely delicious to see Klopp's final season utterly implode. He's a greeting pussed arsehole so deserves the ultimate shitehouse ending to his Liverpool career.
Only down side is Liverpool's implosion means one of Arteta's Arsenal or Pep's Man City have to win it.

Isn’t refusing to shake hands with the opposition manager “unprofessional”?
Losing in Dingwall against a team with about 5% of your budget? Negligent IMO

Glasgow teams winning comfortably in Dingwall isnt for everyone in 2024.

So thats two blatant penalties against Young not given.
Type of decisions that genuinely makes you think the refs/VAR are at it.
