Other than Lewis Spence obviously...
Lewis Spence is garbage. I can't wait for you to see this.0 -

Don't even joke about that. Our goalie Fleming is leaving so we need a replacement.
I'm quietly hopeful we sign Michael Paton though.Unfortunately you don't get to play the Faissal El Bakhtaoui card though.

I think they both can. Shankland done well with us in his first stint and it just didn't happen for him last season for whatever reason.
McManus will have a better team and better players around him this season, therefore I believe he'll have a solid season.
No doubt that both have ability.

FEB.
I'd lose my sh*t.

Wait, hud the bus. It's cause of Elvis Costello who's real name is Declan McManus.

Is McManus actual nickname not Elvis or something. I don't know why but I'm sure the Morton fans referred to him as that when he played there.

The home top is a beauty. When is it being released? Quite looking forward to seeing the proper version of it.
Was speaking to the GM recently, hopefully next few weeks. Belter!

Fact is we are crippled financially this season so I definitely see the U20s filling the bench.
Would like to see Higgy play behind the strikers this season to chip in with a couple of goals and Cardle or Paton(if he signs) on wing.
Nice of the club to show you the books. Do elaborate...

Should start to see more movement since most deals ended yesterday.

Kit announced middle June and for sale middle July I think.

Geggan will do well for Ayr in the middle of the park. I felt he was found out in the middle last season, but done okay at RB. Saying that, I think there are better right backs out there and he's not good enough to play in the middle, therefore I think he'll move on.
Great servant though and a real fans favourite.

Anyone else heard that Williamson might be packing it in?
From his past injuries? Wouldn't be surprised if he has some mental effects of the 2/3 bad injuries he got. What was it, dislocated knee then when he finally made a return he broke his leg in two places?
Personally I don't rate him as a defender. I don't recall him ever putting in a decent tackle and winning the ball but he could be an asset further forward.

Would certainly hope we start next season with neither in the starting XI.
I'd like to see both involved. I think Herron with a full pre-season with us would be a better player. I agree he's been off the boil the last month maybe but form is only temporary. Geggan was terrible for about 8 weeks and has been one of the star performers in of late.
McCabe has done well when given a chance lately and was playing a lot better pre Christmas. Unfortunately at that point Herron and Wedderburn turned up the heat and he couldn't get a look in.

Herron and McCabe have done just fine. Both could improve but no grumbles from me.

Surely from a Pars point of view the objective would be to stay in this league (preferably with quite a bit to spare), consolidate, and have a tilt at the playoffs next season?
We spent 4/5 years in the seaside leagues after the Anelka debacle, and that first season back is a culture shock. As long as you stay in this league with some kind of sign of progress then that's the main thing I guess??
That was my aim from the very start. I actually thought we'd have done a little worse than we have. Anything other than staying in the division is a bonus.

No matter what I'm always awake before 7am on Saturday, body clock can be a nightmare. Usually take the dog out early doors and then might up to the gym for a swim. Then into town/Charlie D's for a few pre-match pints, or for the Lizzie Supporters bus if we're playing away.
No superstitions with what I wear, however me and one of my mates used to always stand on the same side of each other. If we lost, we'd swap for the next game. I think it worked for about 4 games at the start of the season then we forgot who was standing where and the whole thing went down the pan.
I can be quite superstitious thought and will go out my way to find two magpies when walking the dog on the morning of a game. I've not got time for anymore sorrow!

Jim Duffy has done a really good job with Morton. If they finish well I think there may be much better & bigger clubs than Raith interested. Step down going from Morton to Raith.

Brechin haven't done as well without Spence I think, however he's not good enough for us. I think Brechin is the best place for him.
I'd see about getting Hopkirk out on loan purely to get a run of games. I'd definitely have a recall clause in there as he has bags of potential, it's just a shame he's made of chocolate.

It really is. The Jerry Kerr gets a great deal of stick due to its 'rats warren' layout, ageing interior and tight legroom but for an actual view it is great of you are towards the centre circle half way up.
As a visiting fan I have to say I enjoy a visit to Tannadice, great view from JK stand.

Vaughan signed just over a week ago, yet Johnstons been working on the transfer for months
We've been rumoured with him since before Rangers released him. AJ probably let him know we were interested at that point but he opted for Bury. So technically, we have been working on it for months.
