Not sure tbh, Tam seems to have a bit of inside knowledge for certain clubs, mainly ones he played with like us, Falkirk and Hibs. Wouldn't be surprised if this was true, I don't think Hippo is a happyhippo.

Tam McManus saying Hippo back to Falkirk and we might be looking at Lewis Allan from Hibs. He played for us during that awful league 1 season, how exciting.

Oddly I think Aird comes across as the type of person that would want to play for the bigger club rather than the club that are currently higher in the league, probably an ex OF thing. Apparently he wasn't shy of reminding people he used to play for Rangers during his spell with Falkirk. I thought Dundee Utd asked everyone to move within 25 miles of Dundee or something? No matter, we're probably not going to get him.

As long as they get them in before the weekend. This squad absolutely isn't good enough, Thistle & Falkirk both strengthening and definitely look better already and we can't beat Alloa.

If we had a go I strongly believe we'd get him. Less travelling, bigger club. Tbh he probably wouldn't want to re-sign for us after the abuse he received since moving on to Dundee Utd.

Fraser Aird set to sign for QoS. We should really have had a go here, exactly the type of player we've missed this season. Surely Robbie Neilson could have cut the Craw a deal. Very disappointing if we go into Saturday's game with no new players.

There should be a club rule that we always have someone called Bruce on the playing staff.

Ryan Williamson playing in a more forward position though? Certainly looks that way if the squad numbers are anything to go by, he's wearing 7. Think it's about time we tried to move him further forward and used his pace, he's a great lad but not a defender.

Whatabout..... 24 is actually quite a lot considering it was a meaningless game, we'd won the league already and it was just a big title party piss up. I wouldn't be anywhere near TFS if the roles were reversed. I can't think of anyone that would go.

Part time players in a full time team is beyond stupid and an obvious disadvantage. It's not really the same as working part time hours in an office is it? As a football player you all train together through the week to get better as a team so that you can go out as a team on the Saturday and work well together. I can see why this would have disadvantages now, don't know why I didn't think of it before.

Murdoch is finished and I don't think Robinson is actually arsed. He's more interested in leaving elbows and kicks on opposition players or winding up their fans. Great when you're 2-4 up away to Falkirk but he's a risk. Gill can't be as good as some let on as we keep bringing in more experienced keepers.

Would be happy for us to get rid of Robinson and bring in Scully. Robinson only trains twice a week, I don't think he's really arsed tbh. Probably makes more coin doing his Modern Day Goalie stuff.

Everyone thinks Ashcroft made Morris look good, whereas I think it was the other way about. Devine is a charlatan and Durnan isn't much better. In Durnan's defence, he was doing okay with Ashcroft prior to him needing surgery around the start of October, but he's not the answer. If we're exclusively looking at those players I'd be shocked.

Played a better team (Dundee Utd) away from home and lost narrowly due to a defensive error. Saturday was a shambles but the same thing would have happened under AJ.

From the red card only one team was going to win. I wouldn't say either team was in control, but a few minutes prior to the red I felt we would get a goal, then the red happens and I knew we would concede, however I didn't expect us to completely sh*te the bed and concede three goals. Four massive defensive errors. Ashcroft getting binned, Durnan for the penalty, everyone for the second goal and Devine for the third. Jesus that third goal, I'm not even sure I'd say that was schoolboy, it was much worse. Take nothing away from Raith, they seen the weakness and went in for the kill.

100 tickets left for tomorrow if anyone still has to get one. I think the shop is open 10-12 tomorrow.

Anyone think we might get a striker in the door for Saturday or we'll just have to make do with the current squad? I'd like to think Faiss might pick up on an artificial surface against league 1 opposition but I'm clutching at straws.
