  1. Cut short version perhaps, I noticed the Stevie Craw one seemed to end rather abruptly. The full one was uploaded to the Facebook. Was only two minutes longer but you seen the interview conclude. They've probably removed the YouTube and Official Site ones as they were the 15 minute versions as opposed to 17 minutes version on Facebook.
  2. Read on another forum that Keena & Martin have been recalled by the JT's and trained with them yesterday. Wouldn't be too miffed about Martin, but Keena would be a massive blow. Could be utter bollocks going by the forum. No prizes for guessing where.
  3. To be fair to Faiss, we've hardly played to his strengths this season, Hoof ball after hoof ball. Big centre half's will take that all day long.
  4. Faiss will always have a special place in the hearts of the East End faithful, however I could totally see him going back. Crawford might see an out and out striker who could come in. Not sure how the loan system works though, more confusing than it seems and would Dundee want him back considering they thought we'd have and pay his wages until end of May? He's hardly set the heather alight.
  5. I’d like to see Durnan come in for Devine. Durnan done okay until injured. Connolly was awful when he came on, he was actually harmful to any attacks we had down the left hand side. I’d have brought Muirhead on, not everyone’s cup of tea but he would at least have a bit of physicality. We desperately need a striker. Keena is good but a bit isolated. Thought Hippo done better today but still isn’t the answer to our problems. Faiss can be great, but he needs some goals to give him a big confidence boost and I can’t see where they’re going to come from. Smith’s a good young player but he won’t be able to do it.
  6. He's been living in America, not on the moon and I'm sure he's been keeping tabs on how we're getting on. The league hasn't changed that much. Still as competitive as ever and difficult to get out of. Crawford knows all about the team, therefore Shields doesn't have to. I'm sure he'll pick that up quickly after a few training sessions and watching a couple of first team and reserve games.
  7. The guy wasn’t given any reason for being refused entry, he was told to contact some security officer at East End. Could be the fan liaison. He intends to fight this and go through the right channels to get himself allowed back to East End. No ones “being dicks” if we were wining every week and the same thing happened involving a players family and a fan I’d feel the exact same way about it. It’s got nothing to do with poor results.
  8. Goodwin for me. I don't want Petrie's rep ruined by having to pick up the pieces from AJ. Although, he would galvanise the support like nothing else. There's not many ex-players that are worshipped as much as Petrie, especially the more modern day fans/players.
  9. It's on COWS. Scroll down the bottom of the page, there's a Contact Us bit on the right hand column. About 10 different contact methods, email addresses and phone numbers.
  10. With a manager that had a clue we wouldn't be four points off the playoffs, we'd be fighting for a title. The table tells a completely different story from where we are. Queens, ICT & Morton are three of the teams that we'll challenge for that fourth place. In six games against them (each team home & away) we've won once. The teams below us, Thistle, Alloa and Falkirk are all improving all the time. I'd expect Thistle, Falkirk and Alloa to pick things up with their new players and put pressure on us.
  11. No, but I spoke with the person who was refused entry. He bought tickets and walked from the ticket office towards the NW. As he reached the back of the Norrie he was stopped by a steward who had radioed through that the person was to be refused entrance. I believe he's to meet with a safety officer but that couldn't be done at the time. I don't know the person particularly well, only just that they sit within the same section as me. It's a right old shame if they are going to be refused entry at East End. Someone that goes and watches the football, team colours on and doesn't cause bother.
  12. The season opener at Tannadice was our best performance of the season, no doubt. However, the 2nd leg of the playoff? That performance wasn't decent. We had a good spell in the first half but we couldn't put away a bang average Dundee Utd side. I've also formed my opinion on how we tend to perform against the better teams in the league - Dundee Utd, Ross Co, Inverness, Ayr. We've played each of those teams twice this season winning once, losing five and drawing twice. If the team walked off the pitch at FT on Saturday winning 2-1 then I'd have hope, but Dundee Utd are a lot more cutthroat than Alloa, they have more players in their arsenal that can harm you. If we were to amazingly go 0-2 up on Saturday at Tannadice, I wouldn't fancy our chances to take three points, I don't even think we'd get one. I'm not going to write to the club and tell them they should sack AJ, it shouldn't take that for them to realised that. Also, I'm now reading that the club prevented the entrance of a fan on Saturday following an incident at Firhill last month. The club heard one side to this story but decide to go with it and ban the paying customer. I won't waste my time dealing with those type of people. Myself and others seen the incident unfold 3-5ft away from us and let me tell you, it's not as terrible, shocking and one sided as some have made out.
  13. The win against you lot was a plaster over a broken leg. It doesn't fix anything as we realised on Saturday. Any manager with a tactical bone in their body would have made a change, he stands with this arms folded offering nothing.
  14. I've flirted with the idea since we lost to Falkirk at home, but I'm not going back to any home or away games until AJ has gone. Don't get me wrong, on 18th of Jan I'll be itching to go through to Starks the following day, but I have no belief in this guy. He's sucked the passion out of it. Never in my life have I not wanted to go to watch Dunfermline at the weekend. Two games I'd always attend are Dundee Utd and Raith away, so very unappealing under AJ. We'll take nothing from Tannadice and could quite easily go out against Raith. Would the board act then? That's the 19th, we've wasted a couple of valuable weeks and then only a handful of days left in the window.
  15. He was talking about players that have been signed by Championship clubs since the window opened on 1st of Jan, not just any player from Championship clubs.
  16. On his day he can be great but he's not getting any younger. Had a great start for us last season before getting injured and then did virtually nothing. He's a really good lad and now one of the experienced ones so a good person to have in the dressing room. However, if you asked if I'd have wanted him back at East End in the window I'd say no. Modern day legend but I think his playing days for us are over.
  17. The guy seems to be playing with low confidence, as have most of the team this season. Hopefully a few more performances like the one against Falkirk and things will pick up.
  18. Weather shouldn't come in to it. It's football, not hiking up Everest.
