Partick v Clyde
Passionate replied to shawfield shed boy's topic in Scottish League 1 General Chatter
Is it not league rules that all clubs have to do as much as possible to get the game on, covers, undersoil heating etc, I know the heating screws the pitch and costs a,small fortune. Remember the SPL have some sort of ruling, with our game off at ice station dumbarton, I was hoping to catch this one.... -

Clyde FC; Season 2022-23
Passionate replied to the_bully_wee's topic in Scottish League 2 General Chatter
My big concern is , the new variant has been around for 2 months, the government and scientists were aware etc, Why were the gov and devolved govs happy for us to have a 5 day free for all at Christmas with little restrictions on place, This apparent runaway train has been coming and if it wasn't for relative last ditch interventions by Gov medical advisors etc and scientists, we are staying oblivion straight in the face here, Why were they prepared to throw us all under a bus, Herd Immunity or looking for somebody to blame as in the great British tax payer... Berwick Rangers one of my favourite awaydays, hopefully you have bottomed out and gradually fight your way back up... -
Again ffs, SPFL investigation on the cards,

Looking outside, chances of Saturday's game look slim, or have DUmbarton had covers down etc... Do Dumbarton want the game on though.... Remember visiting there hungover big time in 2005 I think on New Years day, Dumbarton won that day....

Heart of Midlothian 2014-
Passionate replied to Jambo Stu's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
Good luck in the final, nearly a year since you got lucky against us in the Cup at Tyne castle ... How about a wee double Hearts to beat Celtic and Airdrie to beat Falkirk both playing Sunday... -
I don't agree with the head hunting obsession, we are strugg!ing as a club what other option is there apart from the 'doomsday scenario' with a Stuart Millar , Sean crighton clusterfuck taking charge..... We have a squad which is highly rated for some reason by our support, but There are massive issues throughout, 2 young fullbacks who to be honest have still to complete a full season at this level, both of whom have struggled badly with no apparent cover for these areas especially left back.. 2 Experienced siege type centre halfs who like to sit deep which isn't a problem if you have a midfield who can link up play and have the ability to pass the ball, we don't . Therefore long balls to fans sweetheart Carrick and Robert come straight back to us..... Murray who is far from perfect has to find a new gameplan, but he has very limited options thanks to our DOF.... If we get a 'sair yin' at Falkirk , the knives will be getting sharpened on Murray, but on my reckoning the club amongst others must be in a perilous financial state...I Survival in this league and as a club might be the best outcome come the end of the season..
-
That is clearly the case, Murray has dropped a few hints just look back every interview this season, he is the coach.. Player recruitment appears to be undertaken by Stuart Millar and Martin Ferguson with Murray given the players , it sounds plausible and possible to work under these restraints, The problem is it has unravelled very quickly, Sabatini and Robert have flashes of brilliance but over 90 minutes both are found wanting. I doubt if either will be here by the end of the January window.... We really are in a sorry state and it is all self i inflicted and ego driven.. Bringing a T shirt out after 2 goals now makes us look a laughing stock. Moving forward we probably have to take a 'doing' off Falkirk and try and keep ourselves out of danger until we find our feet, Murray has to be brave and use his squad, bring Ritchie into right back to replace a clearly struggling McDonald, Stokes to replace either Kerr,McKay or Sabatini in an advanced role, to be honest be doesn't have many more options, so much for a good squad.....

Airdrieonians v Montrose
Passionate replied to Mr November's topic in Scottish League 1 General Chatter
Well done to Montrose, worked hard took there chance, did what they had to do for the 3 points...... Streets ahead of Airdrie sadly -
The club Has always said that they will make mistakes, but learn from them..... But frankly we are making the same mistakes, I am taking Murray out off this discussion at the moment, We knew this time last year the squad limitations, Ryan came in because Carrick and seagal could not cut it often enough, we lacked goals from midfield, wideplayers and defence..... Fast forward 12 months and we have probably more issues to resolve,, Recruitment has been nothing more than a train wreck, We have 2 games to save our season even this early, Montrose then Falkirk..... I think the board are looking for more bang for their buck, who does the hammer fall on Stuart Millar or Ian Murray....
