. Looking forward to the Queens Park game a team from a lower division, who appear to have signed a team of championship players..... Would like to think we would play our strongest team for the majority of this game, hopefully a win and a performance that I can Happy Clap from the comfort of my armchair...... Onwards and upwards

Optimism or realism.... My main disappointment is with the recent performances in pre season, scores are irrelevant, we hardly created a chance against queens and the Rovers, queens are favourites for the drop and to be honest I am sure Rovers fans would bite your hand off to stay in their league this season..... Jury is well and truly out this season.... Last season is in the history books....

Do you not think top 4 minimum in a 10 team league in the third tier of Scottish Football after spending 2 years building your own team ... I don't think there are excuses for fai!ure this season , maybe as a support we have lost our expectation and drive for success after numerous years of shiteness.... In my own opinion i think we will be fighting for 3 , 4 ,5 th place this season with Tbistle and Falkirk sailing off into the sunset at New year..... The bookies may be right are they ever wrong at this level...

How is Callum Smith doing at the accies, was a big player at Airdrie last season, not sure if he is Premiership quality though, he seemed to start the season well, is he now injured or just out of favour..

No excuses this season, jury's out.....

We definitely need a competent striker, but what has been obvious over the 3 games is the lack of support in the opposition penalty box, we rarely have more than 2 players in potential goalscoring positions in the box, consistently rovers and even queens had 4 or 5 players hunting a goal, This is purely down to the setup, Kerr is a fine player and will probably end up at livvy or the well in the near future, do we need a solely defensive midfielder in league 1 ??, This formation may well work in the championship, but we somehow need to get there first..... Personally not been impressed with the 90 min performances over the preseason games, although some players have stood out. Kerr, Sabatini and Stokes although I don't think you can play all 3 in the same midfield, unless we play a strict 4 5 1, which as I said before will not get you enough goals to get out this league....

I know one was n a med on the bench, I think it was an error, The trialist on Saturday looked not bad, don't think we will tonight's trialist again or I hope not reminded me of Kevin schmidt...

Although McKay is always a goal threat unlike Kerr Striker...... Roy or Gallagher Gallagher our most consistent scorer, ideally would like another option Thoughts folks.....

He seemed an upgrade on Calum Gallagher who has looked disinterested so far, So is the much publicised West Ham striker is not happening now I take it........

Looks a bit like him, if so he just turned 17 last week.... Would they send someone that young out on loan to ourselves....

The difference with the juniors as n the old central league, If you chose abeyance on you return your are admitted to the bottom rung of the ladder, with this pyramid system where would clubs bottom out.

I thought Robert was poor, a couple of times McCann was caught on the overlap due to Robert not tracking back, preferred Moore even he came on, even this early you can see we lack quality up front, needs addressed, Stokes and Sabatini have a bit of guile about them and could do well in this league...

Not too sure how much is coming from Redknapp and the MacKays for that matter, Thomas Robert is a MacKey client ibelieve, Sabatini and Stokes have been recruited through a sports agency called Quorum Sports, owned by Imre Varadi (remember him). all the information is available online, you just have to do a bit of digging, We are pushing on with a high risk signing policy, hopefully we reep the rewards, we need out this league somehow, in the coming years we will have Queens Park, Kelty Hearts breathing down our necks...

Still think Hutton will get the gloves, his shirt number is 1 for a reason, he did have a dip in form at the tUrn of the year, East fife away and at Tynecastle. ,, Currie is highly rated although he let in a barrowload last season when he played for the bottom team ... A little concerned about Carrick and Gallagher, can Carrick get 10 to 15 goals again this season and can Gallagher try and stay onside long enough to get amongst the goals, hopefully a striker from a struggling English Premiership side will come in and bolster the ranks....

It is Kelty Hearts who are streaming the game, watched a bit of there friendly today on there site, Good quality picture, 5 quid for next week's friendly, The DTV streaming service will probably be the only way to watch a diamonds game for the foreseeable future, hopefully when we get going we can get a bit commentary etc, all in all I don't think it will be too bad..

I think all teams not just Airdrie are going to have a lack of income, The club are going to be streaming the games, hopefully this will involve online programmes and 50\50 draws etc, that appears to be the default position, could work as long as 'fan's 'buy into it and obey the streaming rules..... I don't want to be a misery either but I dont think there will be a lockdown again, and I don't think things will be over by March either, we have to learn to live with this virus long term....

Your forgetting David Hutton is in this league....
