  1. Anyway, looking for these results to come through - if only to boost my position in a couple of prediction leagues I'm involved in: John Part 7-10 Terry Jenkins Raymond van Barneveld 8-10 Mervyn King Phil Taylor 10-6 Gary Anderson James Wade 9-10 Adrian Lewis
  2. Another 15 leg thriller with Merv edging out Painter 8-7.
  3. Good win for Jenkins in the end. Big finishes, got the checkouts when it mattered and on he marches to the Quarter Finals. EDIT: Feisty encounter on the way with Mervyn King up against Kevin Painter. Expect a lot of growling from both men.
  4. Not one to point out glaring omissions, but... Jenks hit a 135 checkout to go 6-3 up.
  5. Barney wraps up an 8-2 victory over Stompe. He got 8/9ths of the way through a nine darter, but barely got out of 2nd gear otherwise tonight.
  6. Gary Anderson eventually disposed of Wes Newton 8-3 after racing into a 7-1 lead. He'll play Taylor next.
  7. Cracking match in the end between Part and Klaasen with the Canadian edging it 8-7 in the end.
  8. 5-5 between Part and Klaasen so far, both playing fairly well too.
  9. Lewis wins it with ease and puts Manley out 8-1. Also means that One Dart won't make it to the World Matchplay in a couple of weeks time.
  10. They show a HD premiere of an 'older' movie every Friday night on Premiere HD, so those folk without HD end up getting to see it on the SD channel.
  11. Lewis motoring against Manley - he's 4-1 up at the break.
  12. Storming whitewash of Priestley by Taylor though, in all honesty, there was very little Priestley could have done about it. Majestic stuff from the best player to ever walk the planet.
  13. Taylor 5-0 up at the first break against Priestley and The Power is in cracking form.
  14. Result James Wade 8-4 Andy Hamilton Wade proved to be too strong in the end and faces either Lewis or Manley in the next round.
  15. Wade 6-4 up on Hamilton going into the second break.
  16. Excellent 11 darter from Wade to break throw and go 3-2 up going into the break.
  17. Wade's face is a shade of red I'm sure I've never seen before. Things going with throw so far in his match with Hamilton. 2-1 to The Hammer as it stands. *edited due to horrendous spelling...
  18. Taylor vs Priestley Newton vs Anderson Part vs Klaasen Jenkins vs Lloyd Wade vs Hamilton Lewis vs Manley Barney vs Stompe King vs Painter That's the draw bracket there, starting with the 2nd round games tonight. The order of play is, of course, slightly different: Wade vs Hamilton Taylor vs Priestley Lewis vs Manley Part vs Klaasen Newton vs Anderson Barney vs Stompe Jenkins vs Lloyd King vs Painter Not a bad game (on paper) amongst that lot. Should be a cracking session of darts.
  19. Attention seeking? I'm sure things will work out for you fafc, but don't post teasers (in this forum of all places) if you don't want to talk about it.
  20. http://www.silvervision.co.uk/products/The...VD-3-Discs.html It's not out until October, but I can't wait!
  21. Bloody delighted for Manley after his victory tonight and it was a great win for the charismatic Stompe as well. Looking forward to watching these matches tomorrow morning.
  22. Ouch. Just caught up on the results after getting home from work and I'm surprised at Tabern, he's usually quite solid at these tournaments. Still, pleased for Wes Newton. Been following his career from the start and always good tos ee him in the telly tournaments.
  23. I dunno, I'm a little bit underwhelmed by the match stipulations for the HHH vs Orton contest. I suppose we'll see tonight how it pans out.
  24. That sounds about right - but WWE have almost always assumed that their viewers only have a memory span of 12 months and won't possibly remember something like that.
