  1. This scoring inconsistency is starting to bug Barney, reckon he might need to go 3-0 down before he pulls the finger out. EDIT: Barney takes his first leg of the match, that could spark him into life.
  2. 2-0 now in sets, 6-0 in legs. Barney needs to settle soon before it gets away from him.
  3. Barney just a touch inconsistent with his scoring. Just a touch, mind.
  4. Great 66 checkout (bull, double to go 2-0 up in this set. EDIT: ...and Taylor takes the first set.
  5. Yep, he's two sets up and isn't looking troubled at all.
  6. Today's order of play if anyone is watching: DAY TWO - Afternoon session Mark Webster (Wal) v Willy van de Weil (Nl) Scott Waites (Eng) v Ross Smith (Eng) John Walton (Eng) v Shaun Greatbatch (Eng) Steve West (Eng) v Alan Norris (Swe) DAY TWO - Evening session Ted Hankey (Eng) v Brian Woods (Eng) Gary Robson (Eng) v Stephen Bunting (Eng)
  7. King wins a set. This might not be a stroll in the park for Taylor after all - not that Taylor would have expected a stroll in a park in the first place.
  8. They didn't say that at the time, though. At most, I think they said it was the first 9 darter at the World Championships. In any case, they're fully aware that Paul Lim done it in 1990 and have mentioned it several times before anyway.
  9. Much better match than anticipated, has Wade finally decided to turn up at this tournament? EDIT: Wade threw that set away and should now be 3-1 up.
  10. You could hardly call last year's semi-final line up predictable.
  11. Same here. Taylor vs Barney, with the form they're in, will just be out of this world.
  12. Oh my giddy aunt (to quote old Sidney)! Brilliant checkout to win the match for Barney.
  13. Amazing! Phenomenal NINE darter!!
  14. Barney looks like romping this and is looking well worth his 4-1 lead.
  15. Good first set from Klaasen. This could be a belter.
  16. Finally, it's over. Wade wins it 5-3.
  17. As it stands they're both sitting on an average of 81.
  18. It's worse than even that.
  19. Both players just look like they want to get off the stage ASAP. I agree with tigerton, whoever makes it through (on this form) is going to take a doing from Barney or Klaasen.
  20. Nicholson's double attempts have been shocking tonight, he'll need to tighten that up big time if he wants any chance of beating Wade.
  21. Wade vs Nicholson is stuttering along, not really came to life yet. Wade 1-0 up, though Nicholson looking like taking the 2nd set from this point.
  22. Wagner is 7/4, Anderson is 2/5. Both odds are from Ladbrokes.
