  1. I was there last season when they won the league, my train was an early one so had a look at the town centre as you say quite nice.
  2. Dunbar's a cracking day out and the sausage rolls
  3. There was 70 or so when we played them last week, some of their "owners" were there and 20 or so Cowden fans.
  4. Didn't know they had changed their whole side.
  5. That Gretna score shows how poor the standard of the south must be given Star can still win it.
  6. I'd prefer them than Clyde who I think would do a mini EK and out spend the rest of us, don't think Stranraer would do the same. In comparison to other LL sides the Blues have a decent travelling support a lot of them live in the central belt.
  7. They are entry level.
  8. Financially I don't see why they wouldn't even if it was just for a season bag £100k next season and even if they went straight down they would have 2 seasons of parachute payments. Currently I imagine they get nothing for winning the HL apart from the trophy.
  9. I would say we need an experienced spine to the side - keeper , central defender and centre forward.
  10. They wern't in injury time 83 and 88 still bad though.
  11. Personally I would prefer if EK went up it would make the top end of our league more even.
  12. They had a bus at our place last season, not so much for a Tuesday night this season.
  13. As you will know as you were there our game with Hearts on a Friday night drew 303 which was 2 less than we got v Strollers who brought a handful of fans if we were lucky although it was the 1st home game of the season. We actually got a below average crowd for Celtic. Our best crowds have been v the old junior sides Lithgae, Bo'ness and Tranent, we probably could have got more v Tranent if it wasn't on a Tuesday night as more of their fans may have travelled same with the return game which was also midweek. Frustrating that 2 of our midweek homes were against sides who actually have a travelling support the other being Albion Rovers. Both would have attracted bigger crowds on a Saturday.
  14. Not that bad and only once a season down here.
  15. The amount of early midweeks is a real bug bear by the end of September we had played 17 league and cup games.
  16. Yes that was Andy junior he was a coach with us and Kelty, his son also played for our 20s. He played for quite a few Fife clubs sure it would have been him @Cowden Cowboy can confirm as he wrote the article!
  17. Need to improve the home record too much draws.
  18. You have got me wrong i've no gripe with EK from my reading of Kelhearts post was he was talking about clubs in general and my reply was about clubs in general not EK. From the people i've met from EK they seem decent guys and I hope you do make it as it would make to top end of the LL more even.
  19. Pretty pointless clubs just having to pay wages for an extended season.
  20. All depends if its loans by benefactors who may eventually want it back.
  21. I didn't mind playing at AP on the Friday gave me the opportunity to watch another game on the Saturday. At the end of the day the clubs only have to play on a Friday there once a season. The same sometimes happens with the Shire if Falkirk have a home game on a Saturday.
