  1. Really missing Oakley, he's vital to how we play. Muirhead offers zero presence whatsoever and it's fairly easy for any half decent centre back to defend against him playing as a lone striker.

Thought Boyd looked promising in the early cup games but he's been awful against teams not at that lower level. McGrattan is our best wide midfielder and should be starting every week.

Power anonymous, Wilson utter garbage. Blues better this week than last at least and tbh a tough ask to have him in the Robbie Crawford role as he doesn't have the same energy levels and isn't as effective pressing.

The biggest problem of all though is quite clearly Kirk Broadfoot.

Dougie was quick to drop Efe last season after his horror show at Celtic park. Broadfoot has now had several horror shows and needs dropped immediately.

As things stand, I'd be tempted to just give Doyle - if fit again - a contract til January at least. It certainly isn't going to be any worse.

  2. Cameron Blues is fucking shite... so obviously instead of taking him off we move him to RB and take Darah off...

Seen loads of comments over the last few months that we are better when we go with one of Muirhead/Oakley instead of trying to fit both into the team and I couldn't agree more. Today proved once again that Oakley is the one (when we have the choice obviously).

    0-3 flattered us.

Reece Lyon had every opportunity to nail down a first team spot when we had literally twelve players in the entire squad. Instead he was orchestrating garbage defeats to Clyde. He was then given the opportunity to excel at a much lower level - and has failed to take that as well.

It's time to move on instead of indulging in this nonsense revisionism.

I'm not saying Lyon should be in our team right now, and I genuinely have no idea how he's doing at Annan, but there's no doubt that he was playing very well when Dougie initially came in and we went on a bit of a run and *at the time* should not have dropped out of the team.

If Calum Waters is the replacement then it's even more bizarre not to at least offer Strapp something. He's not very good.

  4. This is now the 3rd homegrown player that Dougie's treatment of is questionable.

Reece Lyon was excellent when Dougie first came in before being left out for no good reason then scapegoated every time he did play.

Lewis McGrattan this season who's bizarrely fell way down the pecking order despite being an extremely important part of every good spell we've had all season.

Now he doesn't want a player as good as Lewis Strapp?

No real excuses as we keep throwing games away and when you do that you deserve nothing.

With the Arbroath game and now this game we have dropped 5 points.

Ali Crawford - he looks like a guy who is going to hang the boots up at the end of the season. After that miss the confidence just drained from him. Not saying he cost us that game but he certainly played a part in it.

We're not taking our chances whilst ICT did so they probably deserved it in the end.

We keep going in the vain hope we can get to the play off's but that looks almost dead in the water now.

Of course they deserved it. We scored from a penalty that should never have been given and our only other decent chance was the Muirhead free kick off the bar. There's absolutely nothing from open play.

Persisting with Miller and Crawford has been our downfall and it's on Dougie.

Schwake, Blues, and A Crawford cost us the win tonight. End of.

Set-up and performance overall were excellent.

If you’re bleating about Imrie or - f**k me - McGrattan, you maybe shouldn’t be watching football.

Fair point ... if we completely ignore the fact that Dougie chose to go with Schwake for the season, Dougie didn't sign real back up, Dougie has persisted with Blues all year who's proven over 100 games that he's not actually any good, and Dougie has completely changed the teams shape and style to accommodate Ali Crawford (and Calvin Miller but I'll stick with the players you specifically think cost us).

    Apart from that though...

I don’t really think that’s on Imrie tonight. Maybe a sub could’ve been made earlier, and there’s an argument for McGrattan to start, but we’ve lost that entirely down to individual errors. We were coasting to 3 points regardless of the missed chances until then. Ali Crawford’s misses for a player of his “calibre” are inexcusable and needs dropped immediately.

I mean more for our general poor form and our season being over, not specifically tonight's result. Although when you are chasing a win and the only sub you bring on is Calvin Miller then you've got a problem..

  8. So Dougie admits he got the team wrong then effectively puts the same shite out again today...

Already seen enough of Calvin Miller to say that he's not good enough, whether it is left side of right side. Get him out the starting XI now.

Muirhead and Oakley together is just making us go long every time but then Crawford can't get close enough to them now to pick up the scraps.

If anyone would like to explain why our goalkeeper is trying to waste time towards the end of that game then I'd love to hear it...
