  1. We see this even more when European ultras come to Scotland and are given carte blanche to act however they like by the police, who are shit scared to stop them from setting off flares, taking up the road as they march to a ground, standing on seats etc. All things that, if Hamilton Accies fans were doing, they would come down on them like a ton of bricks. Whatever your politics, kind of similar with the Palestinian demonstrations yesterday. Make the police scared of you / outnumber them and you will find that they are surprisingly coy about stopping you ‘breaking the law’.
  2. Yes, that's my point? I know it happens and my problem is that it happens completely sporadically and depending on what gets the most outrage generated. And this then means that instead of staying as something vile that never reaches the poor Lowery family, they are then made aware of it through the outrage and fallout from it.
  3. Yes I agree that they're ignorant and it's the behaviour of twats. They should be dealt with in what sense? If a Rangers fan sees them on the street and wants to try and give them a slap for it, sure. Not sure about police becoming involved personally. Or, if you want that, then we are going to need a lot of extra jail space to police it consistently. Because - like it or not - hundreds of fans are doing stuff like this in pubs, on buses, on trains, in group chats every weekend across Britain. It's not whataboutery to point that out. So unless you're going to have a consistent standard held, I think it would be incredibly dodgy to cherry pick who gets lifted for this. Giving it oxygen by going "DAILY RECORD EXCLUSIVE: LOOK HOW SHOCKING THIS IS, THINK OF THE POOR FAMILIES (who now know because we've helped to make it very public)" or RFC1872AyeReady going "IMAGINE HOW THE FAMILIES WILL FEEL WHEN THEY SEE THIS (statistically increasing with every post like this that I make) is not something I particularly agree with.
  4. Sooner you get to yours the sooner you can wake up and shout sectarian slurs at the away end tomorrow. Night night.
  5. Very happy to correct the record there, what happened is Dundee United cheated their way to a win and my head completely went and thus the two-footed jumping in. A minter to read back and the p***k in the Hibs end who shouted that has hopefully been banned. Luckily the DABs still went down to their natural home in the second tier; regardless of that sectarian, souptaking stitch up.
  6. Multiple Aberdeen fans have been caught multiple times mocking the Ibrox disaster. At Pittodrie, at Ibrox, at the darts, just about everywhere imaginable.
  7. Flag - singular - aye? Seen on different flags at different times in the past five years. I personally just find the whole 'condemning' thing so fucking boring and trivial. In an ideal world, the morons in our support who've written that on the seats today don't do it. Since people will unfortunately always do things like that, the next best thing is that it's not photographed and splashed everywhere on The Record's website for some cheap outrage clicks. That graffiti could've stayed on those seats and Rangers could've contacted Hibs privately to sort it. Instead it's shared far and wide so that the survivors and relatives of the dead will now see it too. It's the same as that time somebody tweeted something horrible about Jack Grealish's dead sister. Wasn't targeted at him or used an @. Would have never reached him or his family if people hadn't snowballed it into an outrage. You literally had people going "wow have you seen this @JackGrealish?". Anyway, Hibs will never ever be held to account by a club like Rangers on matters of morality. Simple as that.
  8. No self-respecting Hibs fan will be browbeaten into going "yes, yes it's true, we are scum" by a support who regularly and gleeful sing about murdering Catholics and wave flags with totenkopfs on them, thank you very much. My advice would be to focus on your own problems and maybe seek answers from a board that hurt so many of your own supporters through neglect and then pressured the grieving families into silence.
  9. Hearts fan fails to understand that Twitter is a free website* and the tweets that one can read on there are free. *Probably because he's decreased his Scottish Conservatives monthly members' fee to pay Elon Musk $8 a month for 'X'.
  10. Not content with two assists for the Edinburgh Hibees on Saturday, it's emerged that Toby Sibbick (who messages underage girls with zero reprimand from his club btw) made what the xG nerds like to call a "pre-assist" for the second Hibs goal. After fucking up for the first goal, he received the ball from kick off and shelled it into the Main Stand – in what can only be presumed to be some sort of bizarre tribute to the time Hearts single-handedly won the First World War.
  11. Thanks for the assist Toby Sibbick you fucking horrible sender of messages to underage girls.
  12. If I was Luís Henriques 'Duk' de Barros Lopes and I wanted an opposition player sent off for elbowing me, I would simply consider not building up an 18-month track record of being a diving, cheating c**t beforehand.
  13. That fifteen minutes of Palma's VAR moment + the Lazio winner was probably the biggest quarter-hour of schadenfreude I have ever experienced in my life.
  14. Who's flocking? In the video there seems to be nobody near the outside of the door barring the police. Form a ring around the wall and control the flow if that's the problem.
  15. Loathe as I am to defend Celtic or their fans I will say that it's incredible that Police Scotland could block a fire exit like that in this day and age after multiple stadium disasters in the UK. Now, yes, of course the police and us watching that video both know what Green Brigade / Bhoys were up to there, but does that give you a right to block off a fire exit? Very slippery slope.

  17. Rangers and Celtic are refereed differently and routinely given breaks by referees that not a single other club in Scotland are given. On Sunday, Motherwell player 'pushes over' a Rangers player, referee blows immediately and Motherwell not allowed to play on and/or let VAR decide. Tonight, Rangers player pushes over a Livingston player, referee doesn't call a foul, Rangers scores and VAR doesn't get involved. This doesn't end until the fans of the other 40 clubs do something about it. Plain and simple.
  18. I know as a Hibs fan I've got an instinctive dislike of the colour blue (the light blue of Rangers, the navy blue of Falkirk, the Scots Tories blue of St Johnstone), but that is just an absolutely magnificent Dundee top that Gordon Smith - the greatest forward in Scottish football history btw - is wearing there. I would kill for a retro week in the SPFL where we all wear commemorative tops of the fifties and sixties.
  19. Yep they've been a bit of a thorn in our side down the years, apart from that semi final I did enjoy a Friday night DABslaying under the lights in 2017. They were hot on our heels for promotion that season, luckily we consigned them to the first of 4 (four) seasons in the Championship before a pandemic came along to get them up.
