If you're Forbes or her allies then absolutely. Not to mention being able to give a public show of loyalty to The Party after the Greens have been emptied, which is the obvious smart play before taking over in a couple of years and packaging Continuity Nicola as the problem.
But with the numbers literally balanced it does only take one or two MSPs to take a leaf out of the UK Tory party book, decide a change of leadership is needed now, and it's game over for Yousaf. I think the sight of assorted Yoon parties launching VONC will prop up party discipline that wouldn't have necessarily been there - with the removal of Slater's fruit loops placating the most likely rebels too.
The alternative of letting a handful of weirdos in sandals debate for weeks and then choose whether the SG is quite shite enough to leave remains the worse of the two possible options Yousaf faced by the start of the week.
Would it be giving Humza too much credit to suggest that this is the start of him doing similar and attempting to distance himself ? (A full year down the line tbf)

Weirdest timeline update.

If you're the SNP, you surely want Humza to carry the can for the forthcoming potential drubbing in the GE before replacing and resetting ?

Interesting dynamics coming into play as we've really only had 2 scenarios since devolution, Lib-Lab at Holyrood with Labour in WM and SNP( + Greens) v various Tory administrations (apart from a minority SNP v arse end of Labour's final term)
Next 10 years could see some different combinations play out.

Surely the funniest outcome is if some backbench jobber from any party accidentally presses the wrong button when voting and ends up keeping/dumping Humza.

Murdo Fraser tweeting that Yousaf will resign tomorrow, Neil Gray to take over.
Whether Murdo Fraser tweeting something makes it more or less likely to be true, that's not for me to say.
Resigning before the VONC seems an incredibly Humza thing to do. 4d chess baby.

Police Scotland need to get charges in against Nicola Sturgeon in the next few hours, just round it off.
They'd be better off waiting until the potential snap election.

Anyway, Ash Regan's list of demands should be a hoot.
She's gonna ask for the big Independence Ready Thermometer isn't she.

One for the future I suppose, but once Labour are in, the Daily Mail will name a cabinet post/portfolio as the Minister/Ministry of Woke.

I realise there is an inherent dislike of Celtic and Rangers by fans of other clubs in Scotland but that's a pretty crass attempt at humour.
It's the Internet Mags, try not to take it too seriously.

Have we ñot already done this multiple times on various threads ?
Back on topic, will the Sturg cop a charge ?

I'm struggling to get over that, f**k knows how the Coventry fans will.

FWIW I thought Naismith got it pretty spot on today. Decision making in the final third and perhaps not trying to force more set pieces cost them as they comfortably matched Rangers despite the set back of conceding early.
Clement did nothing to dispell the growing evidence that he's fraudulently bald.

A no brainer for the Greens really, once they've paused from huffing their own farts.
Siding with a Tory VONC to bring down a nationalist govt is the sort of shit that would cling to them for years.
