  1. Love our cup draw Motherwell Morton Berwick Queens Park Be nice to get a visit to hampden and I've always wanted to tick off Cappielow
  2. Did he really? Where did you get this from? I heard from somebody a lot closer to he club than you that he is carrying on and has already had the knee surgery
  3. Why would we get rid of Beattie for another player in his mid 30s who was playing junior football and last season and the last few years. I hope we don't take this gamble because hes been around for ages and not scored many or made many appearances at all
  4. Ah fack sake Ah well ill choose Jamie Insall instead then seeing as he's been released by Hibs
  5. I'd like /want us to sign Kris Renton from Cowdenbeath. Think we need a solid centre back if big Joe is out for a while after surgery. A right back is a must but not a clue who. Dylan Bikey is now a free agent.........get him signed Gary!!!!!!!!
  6. Good god don't do that. Cowdenbeath might have an advantage now after leaking information about possible team news
  7. Thank god I sacked yesterday off and took the missus to the dominion to watch T2 instead of going to meadow bank. From what I'm hearing the game was diabolical. We've scored one goal in 4 games. We'll make the wrong playoff if we continue like this
  8. I think Ross Guthrie is alright to be fair. Was at cowdenbeath away and got on the sesh with his brother. He's probably the quickest player in our squad
  9. I'm still debating to whether I'm sad to see him go or not. He's been a fantastic servant with the goals he chipped in but to me he hasn't made an impact in league 2. I wish him all the best I really do and hope he gets his confidence back in front goal because he has missed some sitters this season, so I'll say this. I'm sad to see him go on a personal level but not on a footballing level if that makes sense. Gary Jardine must have someone lined up in my opinion. It was a very quick transfer. As for finishing last I'm now confident we won't. We've played the top three and are still 8th even after losing three in a row. Clyde are beatable at home if we take our chances. Elgin are pretty much unbeatable at borough briggs so I'm not too disappointed about earlier. What does f**k me off though is that we had a change of heart midweek and decided we wanted to go up there but city "couldn't get" a bus. I've got my opinions on that but theyre best kept to myself
  10. Need a proven goalscorer Agree about dunsmore. I also thought Ian McFarland had an excellent game. Hopefully Walker starts next week. Any news on Lairds injury anyone? As for the pies I think I'm gonna revert back to a traditional. The steak pie gravy stained my city scarf a few weeks back and was hard to get out in the wash and I'd be mortified if it attacked any more of my clothing. If we do go to Ainslie I'm looking forward to it . We can get a few stood together by the pitch or behind a goal. Already got the pre match pub sorted as well. Whether it's league 2 or lowland league I'll be there no matter what. Unfortunately I think our support we've built up will be crucified if we go back down
  11. Can't see us going anywhere for a while now Council struggling for funding for the new meadowbank project
  12. Cutting out silly mistakes and Marc Laird being a superstar in defensive midfield
  13. Anyone heard any more news on the signing of Josh Walker yet?
  14. Cheers for that nice one. Thought he'd just disappeared off the face of the planet
  15. Dean cummings and Neil Martynuik were also 2016/17 signings Does anyone know what's happened to Martynuik? Didn't hear anything if he has been released. Not been in the squad for a long time now
  16. Yeah he's been about hasn't he. Plagued by injuries as well. Be a good signing though with his experience.
  17. Yep Currently at Begaluru fc in the Indian premier league Would love to know who our asian sub-continent scout is as I want their job big time
  18. No prob. I'm not part of the club just a fan but as I said I've seen the under 20s this season and I'll say no more on that matter lol. Wrong players recruited in my opinion. As for being 7th at Xmas I'd have bitten someone's arm off to be in this position after that horror start to the season. I can only see the club going forward
  19. Looks like a complete overhaul. The under 20s weren't performing. Also there's diddy clubs(Spartans) with a much better youth system then we have. I think the club are just starting over again with a complete clearout. Not a single under 20 I'd ready to make the step up to the first team and that needs to change because if we get an injury crisis or suspensions we'll need some of the young uns to step up to the plate. I've gone and watched the under 20s a couple of times this season and trust me this needed to be done. Do feel for the staff released though because the ones I've met especially what was the under 20s head coach was a genuinely nice bloke .
  20. Yeah used by Tynecastle and Lothian Thistle HV and Sunday league matches I do believe
  21. Only with a capacity for 500 with no turnstiles or separate dressing rooms etc or anything football related so it's not practical at all. Apparently it's all going back to the drawing board. I can't see Edinburgh City Council forking out to build the stadium to league requirements which will also host rugby. I think we should just sack the idea off of staying at meadowbank and share with Spartans for a few years then build a small stadium of our own in the city. Another option is to redevelop Edinburgh Accies rugby ground. I'm all for that as well.
  22. We're definitely gaining more interest . There's even a few chants at meadowbank now and come the end of the season I can see more joining in. I've spoken to a hibs season ticket holder who is giving up his season ticket at the end of the season and wants to go to city instead and bring his pals with him. There's hearts fans as well that are starting to go to games. If we stay up and the club continues to grow the interest will be a lot better and I can see us having a very decent fanbase at this level in a few years time. The only thing I worry about though is the uncertainty of where we will play our home games. Meadowbank we will probably have to say goodbye to forever after this year. If we do go to Ainslie park hopefully all that go to meadowbank will go over and we pick up more support over that side of the city as well. Glad BBC are starting to give us some recognition
  23. You are a total muppet aren't you Berwick Rangers will always be a club that plays second fiddle to the speedway. By the way Stirling fans I hope you stay up if you do finish bottom. Would be sacrilege a club like yours dropping out the league. Your fans were well within their right yesterday to call your own players a disgrace when they came off tbf. Was sat by a few Stirling officials yesterday who were in the hospitality with us and they were lovely people. Good luck for the rest of the season
  24. I can see us irritating people with it after a while haha
  25. We decided yesterday in the pub we were gonna call ourselves the blobby army(there's only 4 of us so far and we want as many people as possible to join us)and start singing at home and away games . Got a quote for a flag as well which will be part of our matchday uniform once we've ordered it. Very sad news to hear that our dear leader deflated yesterday. We were gonna try get a picture with blobby yesterday but we couldn't be arsed to move after the amount of pies we went through
