I agree with some of the points being made above but I really can't help this is a major over reaction. We were all on here the past few days saying we would have taken a draw last night, and if Darren O'Dea had just booted that ball over the derry like he should have done we would have got that draw and none of this would be happening. We've just come off the back of some exceptional form. Before last night we had taken a total of 17/21 points at home and won by the biggest away margin in Scottish football this season. Regarding the 2/3 year deals I don't see the problem. This is players careers after all so they're going to want some assurance, especially the ones who have families to look after so I imagine the longer term deals had to be done in order to bring these players in. Of course some of these players are going to be flops. We can't afford to pay a transfer fee for players so the risk involved in bringing these players in is very high. I actually think the majority of what he's brought in this season has been not too bad. Add that to Hemmings, Stewart, McGinn, Holt, Bain, O'Dea etc. and HArtley has done pretty well. Dundee fans are a fickle bunch at times, and you never seem to get overreactions like this at other clubs similar to us. For example Pogba at Thistle. He was woeful but you didn't see any fans slamming the manager for signing him. They just took the piss more than anything.

On my lunch break and decided to have a little nosey at Dundee United Mad which i've not done for a long time and it's probably one of he best decisions i've made on a lunch break. There's a thread on there called "Target 12-2-2" and if you haven't seen it I advise everyone to go and do so. It's fucking marvellous. Basically it was started back in January and it was their plan to win the league with 76 points and to do this they would win 12, draw 2 and lose 2 of their remaining games. Hence "Target 12-2-2" After they draw the first 2 games it's down to 12-0-2, some of the numpties still think it's on. They proceed to lose the next one so it's now target "12-0-1". Anyway, this is now well and truly fucked only a month into the "Target 12-2-2" campaign and apparently 73 points will now be enough. Fucking laughable that lot. 10/10 read.

Just noticed we've taken 17 out of a possible 21 points in our last 7 home games. That's including games against 3 of the top 5.

Good post. Maybe I've been a bit harsh but like you their naivety annoys me. The comment from Nelms obviously didn't work as we definitely undersold both of them. Hopefully we've learned and get more for Bain. Ticket prices are maybe more of a widespread thing and something the SFA should look at. German football improved drastically after they cut prices around the country.
