I have a few friends who support Hibs. I also have OF supporting friends. I despise all three clubs with every inch of my maroon soul however. Aye, take that rivalry and dislike away from football, and what are you left with? I'll definitely get more enjoyment out of a win v certain clubs who did and said specific things when we were voted down, but I really can't care enough about them to actually hate them.

Sevco, Celtic and Hibs for starters. A few clubs were hovering close to that list after well publicised recent events, but nah.

Yeah, neutrals always tend to side with the less successful and generally shite team when it comes to rivalry. Personally I just tend to dislike almost every club, with a small number of exceptions whom I despise, and an even smaller number who I don't really mind. Not much to choose from between the two Dundee clubs really.

Never had anything against them until that Nelms fanny started trying to align them with the mhanks. 1986 was one of my most enjoyable seasons as a Hearts supporter. Dundee didn’t do anything outwith good faith. They played to win, and they won. I always find it weird that they take any kind of joy out of that day, other than qualifying for Europe. I guess it’s maybe only the ones who have Celtic as their “big team” though.

Mate. Your greatest and most bragged about achievement, is a win that handed the OF another league title, and which cut short the period of non-OF winners. That season was amazing for me as a child. Loved it. Fell short at the end, but what a journey. I hope you get to experience something similar at some point.

So, an unconfirmed 10 against the Jambos. How many has he scored against other clubs? Many against Falkirk? St Mirren? Dunfermline? How does he do when trying to fire in to the Bairns, the Buddies, or the Pars?

Astounded that it’s as many as ten tbh. How many of those were for the mhanks? Is it definitely ten? Or is it just a case of, ‘it should have been ten’?

If everyone from the welly-howking, jute-reminiscing backwater up yonder is quite finished gloating about us having an incredible season 36 years ago, as though it was some kind of victory, then we can get down to the real business. Adam being back improves Dundee tenfold. He’s very good. No idea if the wee kiddy-botherer is injured, but he rarely does much against us anyway. Cummings isn’t particularly good, but he does have an annoying habit of raising his game v us. We are a much much better side than when we last played Dundee though. I think it will be hard game, but we will win it. 3-1
