  1. We bought the Edinburgh franchise. We used the money that we were apparently guaranteed to chuck at Kyle Lafferty in the summer.
  2. Wouldn’t worry about it too much. Cormack is going to start flexing his financial muscle soon, and the Dons should pull away from Hearts and Hibs, whilst getting closer to the OF. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football/hearts/aberdeen-increase-wage-bill-as-they-look-to-pull-away-from-hearts-and-hibs-3350447%3famp
  3. St Mirren aren’t doing to badly at the minute. Augers well for January when they make the step up to the Hibs first team again.
  4. Hibs’ winter sphincter collapse has started a bit earlier than normal this season. Can’t see them going down, but a lot will depend on how committed they are to the plummet this year. They should probably give Keith Gillespie a bell, see if he can finally make that Kyle Lafferty deal happen for them. Can’t see Ross being left sitting there in a room at East Mains, like Lennon was.
  5. Just how ‘lad’ were they though? Were they like the 19th century version of Dirty Sanchez?
  6. There was a cheeky chappie, His buddies called him Pot, He was growing a bit unhappy, Intellectual, he was not, He gathered up the learned, He made them plough the land, Until death they had earn-ed, And they could no longer stand, His gang of crazy kiddies, Were known to bring some dangers, Though overall they weren’t as bad as the Glasgow Rangers. (To the tune of Tiny Turtle)
  7. Context and timing are everything though, eh. It’s pretty obvious to everyone that this is a reaction to the famine song being under the spotlight recently. The ‘daft laddie’ act is pretty transparent.
  8. Minus the ’here first’ and ‘our city’ innuendos, you’d probably be able to convince most people of this. It’s a shame you won’t just admit it, I’d have been interested to hear your honest opinion on your club doing this sort of thing through official channel.
  9. It didn’t cause controversy. There was no debate about its merit, with two sides putting forwards their academic views on it, as if it was a new proposal worthy of discussion. It was a bunch of filthy dregs of society screeching about people of Irish lineage not being welcome in their country. Also, the idea that you all thought it was perfectly reasonable to sing it, until all of a sudden out of the blue (pun intended) enlightenment dawned on the horde, is laughable. The fact that the club are attempting to let it back in through the rear door with this weird innuendo dripping video, reflects very poorly on a club who are generally regarded as trash by the majority the country already. It’s a total cringe from the Rangers marketing team.
  10. Can’t speak for anyone else, but if you are honestly trying to justify your club’s pish, by pointing out Celtic are riddled with vermin too… well I don’t think it’s headline news to anyone really.
  11. A mate of mine from the south coast once told me about Mark McGhee’s attitude towards players of colour. It was quite an eye-opener. Don’t know if he’s on here, I’ll need to ask him. Certainly took me by surprise though.
  12. I don’t know. I honestly do know buns that aren’t sectarian minded arseholes. Quite a few of them. They bear (pardon the pun) absolutely no resemblance to the puddle drinking hordes that post shit like that Tweet earlier. Same with the other p***ks, there’s folk who just support them as a football team, as well as the weird c***s that think their football club is a political expression.
  13. This guy usually puts some alright articles together about HMFC. Young guy starting out: https://enrgsport.net/2021/10/14/playing-on-the-front-foot-at-ibrox-will-give-you-a-chance-says-hearts-boss-neilson/ often needs a wee spellcheck, but the content is normally worth a read if you are a Hearts supporter.
  14. “Here Shug, what did you get up to the day big man?” “Same thing I do everyday Billy, obsessed about Irish folk and Catholics.” ”See we managed to get that famine song in our latest video?” ”Aye, pure class, so it is.” It’s so weird and creepy. Is there some sort of subtle reward with it, that I’m not seeing? Some hidden fulfilment? Really does seem like an awful waste of time and energy over something so unimportant.
  15. What weird tragic people they are. Cannot fathom someone living their short precious life, and devoting it to such oddball pursuits as this. I just cannot imagine it being rewarding.
