"Based on What?" Mutual respect that's what?

Why should I respect respect someone who wants a person sacked from their job less than a quarter into a season? Without having suggested a suitable replacement or even hinted who that might be?

It's simple. Archie should have been given until the end of the season or until he decided that he couldn't turn it around. You should have been proper Thistle supporters and backed him. If it didn't work out, at least you would feel like you gave him a chance. You are no different to the baying morons that litter Scottish football.

    “Proper Thistle supporters”. Oh dear.

So how many games did you go to in last 18 months? How many have you seen this season?

Archie deserved to the end of next season to see if he could get us back up.

Based on what? The scintillating results this season and last? The scintillating performances this season and last? The top class signings he made this season and last?

How many games have you actually watched in the last 18 months and thought they were good? Because his season, QOS aside, the football has been dreadful and there have been no signs of it getting better.

  3. Ah, Red Monkey. One of the last remaining Archibald fanboys too blind to see what was happening, and presumably with his poster still attached to his bedroom ceiling.

Talks about performances being more important than results. Okay - other than QOS, which performance was good? East Fife? Dunfermline? Ayr? Was Saturday a sign that performances were getting  better? Did the manager try changing things to influence the outcome of the game?

It was the right decision to sack the management team. 100%. Suck it up and get right behind the new manager and his team.

  4. Woods hid for long periods during games, especially when we went behind. The gubbing at Dingwall was a prime example. Plus the fact he was average at best. Another desperate signing. His debut was a 3 minutes appearance from the bench, following which he was out injured for 3 weeks. Another wage thief from last season.

  5. Gerry Britton should be nowhere near the recruitment process. We do not need any more “old boys club” appointments. We need someone with a fresh approach who believes in attacking football, is not obsessed with shoehorning players into 4231 formation and can get performances out of bang average mediocre players.

And who knows a right back that we can sign.
