  4. Copied this idea from the East of Scotland page. Please post your teams pre season friendlies below when you know them. Thanks.
  5. I was only a wee boy then,I think it might have been a 7-1 defeat come to think of it
  6. Does anyone have any info when Queens beat Airdrie 7-1 at Palmerston and what was the halftime score?
  7. No, it was definitely against Airdrieonians. I think the game was during the early 80s. I'm sure Skyline might know?
  8. What was the halftime score against Airdrieonians when we beat them 7-1?
  9. Fleet Star, Tarff Rovers, Whithorn, Crichton and Lincluden Swifts
  10. Hopefully Queens are training at Palmerston all this week, that way the players will know everything about our pitch.
  11. A full-time professional footballer should be expected to play 90 minutes 2 games a week nowadays. Never before have they had teams of experts looking after every aspic of their bodies.
  12. I agree DG, it was not a bright idea leaving them all out!
  13. Not sure the BOD have the togetherness or the strength to be honest.
  14. I'd made a lot of special arrangements for this game. Hotel, dinner appointments, friends get-together and even an ex primary school walk around to name just a few of my plans. I'm damn annoyed
  15. I suppose it will be hard for us to sign players for next season now that we have been dragged into the relegation battle.
  16. Skyline - If I buy just one season ticket, does anyone sit beside me? What happens if I go with a friend who doesn't have a season ticket? Thanks.
  17. So in short, are there any new applications for next season at all?
  18. I don't quite get all this sudden influx of Naysmith lovers. It was only a few weeks ago that many posters on this board were saying that he was chasing the fans away with his boring tactics and playing style. I can't quite fathom out why our bench is so bare when there should be more youngsters from our youth ranks being offered the opportunity as a reward for their efforts with a place in the squad. Interesting times though and at least we are in the top four with an opportunity to challenge if we can stay relatively injury free.
  19. Ex Queen of the South manager Gavin Skelton resigns as Workington Reds boss after only a week in the job.
  20. New Queen of the South midfielder Nicky Low has joined from League of Ireland side Derry City on loan until the summer. The 26 year-old played for Aberdeen from 2010 and had loan spells with Forfar Athletic and Alloa Athletic. Low signed for Dundee in 2015 and had made 24 appearances for the Scottish Premiership club. Derry, who are managed by former Kilmarnock boss Kenny Shiels, stated that it is just unfortunate that Nicky could never stay fit enough to become a regular of late.
