We have around 6 or 7 signed in reality, there's at least 1 getting announced at 2.

Sure we had a better team but everyone did back then. And a scotland or oz caps a bit easier to get than an England 1

He has signed.Sorry, should have been clearer. No it wasn't the official Twitter account. One his his pals had congratulated him on it then took it down. Maybe just a wind up if they seen the recent posts on here, maybe true but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

Would agree that contracts probably won't start until September sometime, but I'd imagine most signed on at say Dunfermline are getting paid just now.

As Skyline Drifter pointed out on another thread via some Ayr fan, signing players just now is like signing a player mid April a normal year.This Summer is totally different to any pre season previously.
Players will accept deals earlier due to he number of players out of contract.
The club signed Brownlie and Holt last May so it has got it in them to act earlier.
Except we don't have any games as income.0 -

The SFA are allowing clubs to 'lodge' paperwork on new signings and just sitting on them until the window actually opens and not processing them. As long as you lodge the paperwork is lodged within 14 days of signing there is no issue with that and the window not being open is fairly irrelevant.
Its only really relevant to direct transfers and I suppose to international signings (which obviously includes England).
Edited to add - it will open at some point in the next three weeks for sure. They were considering opening it for a few days then closing it again temporarily to let them register those done so far. Its only allowed 12 weeks in total but it can be two split periods. However they havent done it yet.
Hopefully for a raft of Queen's signings.....

I have managed to build this since the start of May, got easily have got TOTS Hummells but went for the two new CB's just to try different cards. So can easily see how you can get mega squads without much effort if you play all year.
I've only got 40 Rivals wins and something like 1350 qualifying points, struggle to get out of D9 as well. But hopefully can qualify for the weekend league next weekend if I hammer rivals at the weekend.
Should have more time to play when the new game comes as well, so hopefully manage to get up to a good level and enter the weekend league all the time.

Can recommend get that Undav card, upfront with Werner looking to be a great partnership. Hope to upgrade to a higher Werner card but looks likely to be out of my reach unless there's a price crash.

Coutinho’s totw CAM card might be a better shout in that position. Although you would need a few more coins but you’re not a million miles away
Reus base card is another option as I Sancho totw
