    Obviously the players outside the starting 11 aren't as strong but on the plus side they're still grinding out points. I don't think it's sustainable though throughout the season if the injuries don't clear up and at some point something will break. Will reserve judgement until the Falkirk and Livi games though to see where we are one way or the other.

    How many forwards are available atm who could bring in even half the goals that Dowds would. Can't be many about apart from an untested young loanee or paying through the nose for a Maguire type

    Big month next month, league games against Falkirk and Livi and staying in the cup. Be good to see how we measure up against them, hope to f**k the injury situation has cleared up a bit by then.

    Not very hopeful about Dowds. Few weeks at least? Best case scenario. Would be very Ayr if the season was derailed by the injury list. At least McCall waited till Xmas to pull this stunt.
