I'm sure Mitchel Frame is from Ayr so he could solve the LB issue and from my FM save I would recommend Daniel Kelly who actually made his debut at the weekend.
Can also vouch for Kelly going by my FM save haha

Anyone for a pre-season friendly against Killie to open the new stand?
Naw. No interest in playing them in a friendly.

I’m looking forward to a nice Sunday afternoon at Ibrox, on the beer, with a banner or two and a total wind up of the flute blowers for 90 mins.
You know that they will all be a seething mess - it’s part of the fun!
Aye I'll be there, not for the football though. Just to shout at fat mutants mostly

They’ve seen out precisely one manager and you can’t exactly blame any of them for what’s happening this season.
I was under the impression Tait and White had been in there current roles for a while? Perhaps I'm wrong. I'm not blaming them for what's gone wrong this season, recruitment and Bullen's tactics are the culprit there. But telling potential managers they can't bring in their own guys and must work with guys from the previous management team is not the right way to about hiring a new manager

If that rumour is true about smith not wanting someone to bring in an assistant then it's an atrocious decision. I personally want a clear out of the backroom staff as they've seen out a good few managers now. Imo it's important for a manager to have guys he knows and trusts working along with him

He was a bawhair away from the job when Kerr got it apparently. To the point where he thought himself he had it.
I'll never forget the disappointment of logging onto twitter that day and seeing that we appointed our centre mid as f*cking manager

Aye I'm thinking that since the club's propaganda minister has mentioned only him as a candidate, then talks must be ongoing and looking likely to reach an agreement (hopefully)

I heard this particular name
He's also 52 so won't need to hire an assistant

VOR must now be the club's minister for propaganda

Anyone else feel like they've just woken up from a nightmare where Ayr were utterly horse shit, verging on completely inept and found that they're actually doing amazingly well with Captain Bullen at the wheel and there's a huge legacy of progress being made before our very eyes.
I'm so confused. I need a lie down.
Aye the propaganda coming out from the club/voice there is completely bizarre. It's almost like they are trying to make it seem like they didn't want to sack him as his legacy was successful but fans pushed him out the door.

It says on it "Chairman David Smith says:"
Ah fair enough I completely missed that.

Would say that's a good statement by Smith tbf, not just your usual 2 line copy and paste shite that club's put out usually when a manager leaves.
Not sure whether to look into this too much or not but interesting there's nothing on there from Mathie...
How do you know that statement was written by smith and not Mathie?

Haven’t heard much abuse in the stadium to be fair? Just some odd shouts to get Bullen out..
Haven't seen much online either aside from bullen out tweets which hardly constitutes as abuse

Head of recruitment out next please

Disappointed for Bullen as a guy, he's worked his arse off and been a great ambassador for the club. However, results speak for themselves and a change was required. I'm hoping a few of the deadwood in the backroom staff clear off as well; the GK coach being the first.
What's wrong with the GK coach? Purely because the goalkeepers have regressed?
Hard to tell what the backroom staff contribute but considering they've all been here a while then aye would be happy for some fresh faces to come in

I'm quickly losing patience with Mathie as well now. If he doesn't have the baws to sack bullen over the next 2 days then he can gtf too. He's overseen the clusterf*ck so needs to own it and take action

He's staying isn't he
