Tbf to Chalmers. In the right team he would be a baller. A team scrapping at the tail end of the league can't carry a baller though. He's been little more than a passenger for 2 seasons with us. He should never be allowed to take set pieces though. He's dreadful at set pieces.
Agree with this. There's definitely a good player in there, he just didn't suit our system and isn't the type to carry the sh*te around him. Watch him go and perform weekly for Dunfermline now and help them avoid relegation at our expense.
We now need another CM.

Assuming it's Dempsey from Charlton. Hopefully someone else as well but doubt it

Would drop Tomi purely due to the state of that dive in the first half tbh.

About a 3 hour wait for that sh*tty wee animation

I reckon tomorrow we'll announce that he's away and hopefully Timmins and Joyce follow him as well. I think any interim team is likely going to be made up of Mathie and Davie White, which I don't really mind so long as we've got someone in place for the first week in January at the latest.
I can't imagine mathie taking over as interim boss. Can't imagine how he'd have time to manage the day to day runnings of the club off the pitch whilst taking training every day.

Can only assume Duffy is still in a job because there's no one else that wants to come anywhere near us

Didn't really see the point in sacking Duffy originally but this is pathetic. He needs to go

Behind both goals could do with this as well. Just to make it less crumbly and steeper, and a bit more appealing to new fans.
Probably cost quite a bit of a money for little benefit though.
Always thought that was one of the main downsides of Somerset. The view from the Somerset road end isn't the road end and railway end isn't the best and could do with being a good bit steeper

I know it's a bit redundant when the game was on the telly, but I hope Black and White TV get their collective finger out and put the highlights up. (They were given the highlights 48 hours ago.)
Patiently waiting for the day we give up on Black and White TV and put the highlights on youtube again - Black and White TV is utter baws.

Please tell me the hub will be open on Friday night so there's something to look forward to

When you look at what other fans across the country do with pyrotechnics (eg Rangers at Easter road, Celtic at Hampden) it's pretty hilarious how much some of our support on SRE get their knickers in a twist over one wee smoke bomb that lasted about 20 seconds getting thrown on the park after scoring a goal. It happens at games all over the country every week and isnt that much of a big deal. As far as I'm aware killie, Talbot, Celtic, Hibs or rangers to name a few haven't been fined for this recently so don't see why we would

Made the last minute decision to go to this today, is there a way to buy a ticket for the away end at the stadium? And is there any half decent pubs near the stadium for a quick pre match pint?

Why are you always so aggressively defensive of Kerr?
Its quite cute but also very weird considering how bad Kerr was at his job

Any word on how many tickets we've sold now?

Alan Trouten and Stephen Dobbie have had the same chant aimed at them by the same group of reprobates in the past, despite doing absolutely sod all to antagonise anyone in the crowd beforehand. Be interesting to see how you can turn those cases into a victim blaming exercise as you’re doing with Gibson.
The group of reprobates in question here is a group of wee guys about 16 years old that quite clearly aren't mature enough to understand why it's out of order

Heads gone from Gibson at the end, some things never change

Hands off
I wouldn't hold your breath for a Duffy 4-4-2. He loved a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 when he was with us.
Will be nice to at least see a recognisable formation instead of whatever the f**k that was under hopkin

Just think, if we appoint Yogi it won’t be Morton fans coming and telling us how shite he is. It’ll be Raith fans.
To be fair, this will happen with any manager we are likely to appoint

Let’s not be kidded that Kerrball was the answer - we were falling like a stone and the rot had to be stopped.
Hoppyball clearly isn’t the answer either.
Who next though?
Yogiball

The only reason Smith won't sack Hopkin is if his ego is too big to admit that he was wrong

Fjortoft and Baird were terrible tonight. Noticed McAllister at one point in the first half arguing with fjortoft, he seemed to be saying that the long ball into the corner wasn't working. Not too sure what was said but the next thing that happened was fjortoft getting the ball and launching it in the air to absolutely no one..

First time back at somerset since the start of the pandemic and i knew it would be shite but was pretty surprised at just how grim it really was. Team selection, tactics and subs all baffling. I was absolutely raging and have no intention of going back on saturday if that clown is still in the dugout. If Hopkin is still in a job come saturday then smith can gtf as well.
