  1. Is that what that pedal is for!?
  2. Car went into the garage on Monday and they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. 2 of them took the car out of a drive and it worked with no issues. Started playing up again so took it too my cousin, who’s a mechanic, over east. Was playing up the whole way there so of course he jumps in and again it works perfectly well and he couldn’t find any issues. The mrs took it to the garage this afternoon and again it worked perfectly when they took it for a drive. Feel like I’m going fucking mad. It only seems to happen when either myself or the wife drive the car. Its out of warranty in a few months as well so I’m predicting it will be completely fucked the day after it expires.
  3. Give it to Steve Clarke after the Euros.
  4. Yeah, I think the recruitment in January has turned out to be a bit of a disaster. We were doing fine up until the start of January, though you can't deny there were some shocking performances too, and that was mostly down to Wotherspoon just being class. We needed attacking and creative options and not defenders. Maybe one but the amount we brought in was stupid. As you say Boyes, Ujdur and Devine would have been absolutely fine for staying in the division. We wouldn't have needed the cash from the wages for this season but you could say why not throw £1k a week at five quality championship players this summer instead. I don't have a clue what their plans were for this summer presuming we are still a Championship club and Ferguson is still in charge but spending silly money on a manager isn't much use if you aren't going to put some money into the players on the park. We did it with Dodds for two years and we nearly got promoted and made a cup final and I will say we made it their in spite of Dodds. We invested in the squad and got a shite manager and now we have invested in the manager, who could well end up being shite too which I know some already think, and given them f**k all to work with on the park. Just have some sort of middle ground for once.
  5. Aye I’m sure that will be the case. The point really was that they are still willing to chuck silly amounts of cash at the club so why not put that into the playing budget instead. Or if you are insisting it all goes to a manager at least give it to one who is a close to a sure thing at this level that you can find. Ferguson was always a risk and throwing stupid money at him is just ridiculous.
  6. Dear god, I hadn’t even thought of that terrifying prospect. Well at least Scott Gardiner has a reputation for being on the ball with this type of stuff…
  7. I don’t have a clue what Malkkky was on our what Ferguson is getting paid but I’d imagine it’s a minimum of £5k a week? Makes a bit a mockery of the crying and moaning our chairman has been doing in the press over the last few months about how skint we are. Some rich people are fucking mental. Quite willing to pay a manager ridiculous money to come up here, who wasn’t even proven to be good at the job but if you suggested putting that money into the playing squad or helping to cover the losses for a few more years they wouldn’t be having any of it.
  8. Absolutely no surprise that we have passed up another golden opportunity to get back into a game. We are constantly shooting ourselves in the foot.
  9. The Falcons really are something else
  10. If any of the other Highland League teams fancied a crack at promotion they should have won the league. It’s shite that this has happened but nobody else deserves a shot at the playoffs.
  11. That says Brechin are at Entry level not bronze. Plus what do Brechin have to do with this? They didn’t win the league so what status they have is irrelevant.
  12. I've always liked the look of him when he was on the park but you could tell he hasn't played a lot of first team football. I think he has been quite a big miss while he was out injured. No chance we will have him next season but I would have thought he would be a very important player for us if he could get 10 or so games under his belt.
  13. Mckay has been doing that all season. I'd say he is actually being played in a deeper role ever since Wotherspoon left. Which then means when we do get into decent positions we don't have anybody in the box as he is still trying to catch back up with the play. There has been a fair amount of criticism of him recently, on twitter, which I think is extremely harsh. I'm still fairly confident he would score a fair share of goals in a team where he was a normal striker and they created a couple of decent chances per game. Friday was actually the most "direct" we have been in a long time, if you want to call it that, Samuel and McAllister both driving from deep with the ball and it was incredibly effective. Would like to see much more of that rather than the slow build up play which allows teams to get everyone behind the ball and set up in defensive positions. Our defence is far from perfect, as the goal we conceded proved, but it is more than good enough for the Championship. The issue is that when we do concede the odds of us scoring 2 goals are incredibly long.
  14. At least we actually created chances on Friday. The majority of our games this season you would struggle to pick out one clear cut chance that we had. Even the goals we score are, generally, out of nothing.
  15. I don’t think he was that far wrong with what he said as I’ve got Queen’s Park getting an easy 3 points against Arbroath already chalked up on the board. You could argue that he didn’t need to say it but on the other hand the reaction is exactly what he was after. If Arbroath go on to get a couple of results, especially against Queens Park, then he’s done exactly what he wanted to happen and if they lose all 3 games he’s been proven right. He doesn’t really come out of this looking bad apart from the bit where it is everyone else’s fault that we are in this position.
  16. Will be extremely disappointed if Barca don’t have a full heads gone in the last 20 mins.
  17. If we had wingers at the club then I think he would use them. I mean he could have signed some in January I suppose.
  18. Win here and Dunfermline also win then QP would be 5 points behind and at least 15 goals behind on GD. I’d say that would be job done.
  19. Pepple was good against Dundee Utd a few weeks ago. Though he does sometimes look like he has never seen a football in his life before. Would say Samuels is quicker and agree that he should get some game time. Even for 20 mins off the bench.
  20. If he has been fit for the majority of the time since Ferguson came back I’m amazed he hasn’t been given a chance. Think he would be great playing in an attacking midfield position and something we are sorely lacking.
  21. Roddy might have absolutely no interest in signing a new deal in all fairness.
