I’m not a 1883 member but if the email was only about the room conversion they have put it on the website now. Why not give the club a chance first before shooting them down? Maybe your moan would have been valid in a couple of days not a couple of hours
Wasn’t even meant to be a moan never mind shooting the club down As not in 1883 had no clue what info folk were talking about, so just expressing an interest in letting all fans know at some point, which from 1883 members posting sounds like they do already. So all good.

No problem with 1883 members getting info first as there has to be some perk of joining, but would like to see the info then shared with wider support too even if there is a delay of a day or two. Not everyone can afford to join but they are still fans and interested in what’s going on.

To be fair to Barrowman he said that he hoped it would be days not weeks. Not that it was definitely going to be days. Frustrating that we still haven’t got someone in but rather we took our time and got someone decent than rushing and ending up with another Gary Locke.

Ayr away in the Diddie Cup. Yet another shocking draw.
Spoke to someone yesterday who said definitely Brown, so either it’s true or the best wind up ever

A new season and still no regular centre backs. Will we ever have two good centre backs fit ever again? Starting to doubt it. We just can’t seem to get a grip of these League Cup groups. Always feel like pre-season friendlies. Wish they’d bring back the one-off knock out format. Expectations after last season are high and so far, we’re not living up to them. Although anyone that boos a team off at half-time when it’s 0-0 is a wrong un. Anyway, the real stuff starts next week.

I know it’s financially important for us to progress from this group, but the sooner the league stuff starts the better. I cannot get myself excited for these group games, they’re shite.
We need to progress for the financial boost and the boost it will give the squad. We got drawn in a very favourable group, if we fail to get through to the knockout then it’s a bit of a blow before the season even starts. The squad and supporters will feel that. I’d rather go into the league season feeling good rather than thinking ‘we fucked it’

Disappointing result but an ok performance. Good passing and movement but we desperately need a cutting edge up front. We just don’t have it at the moment. The defence also remains weak, but maybe with Hanlon in there we stop those cheap goals? Stanton still a class act, Stevenson looks good. Easton still as frustrating as always and for me the jury looks out on Freeman. Hasn’t looked convincing in what I’ve seen so far. Hope he improves. Have to beat Hamilton well on Saturday and hope for the best.

Really cheap defeat. Just two poor defensive lapses handed County the points, but if we’re being honest then we lacked both physicality and quality up front. Still a gap between the Championship and the Premiership on this showing. Board need to take note of our lack of cutting edge and invest in a striker if we want any ambition of winning the League.

Poor defending again

How on earth did Stevenson avoid a booking there? Not that I’m complaining

Maybe my pessimism But already fearing that Hanson is another Keith Watson. Great when on the pitch, but not on it enough. Hopefully I’m worrying unnecessarily

Feels a bit like a replay of the play-off so far. County have a bit more quality and someone who can finish. We’re not that far off but lacking a real goal threat. That move just on half time summed it up. Connolly and Easton win the ball by pressing well, Connolly gets to the byline and there’s almost no one in the box to pass to. Still in it, but has the feel of a 2-0 County score line at the moment.
Agree that this stream is poor. Raith TV provide better commentary and replays which is kind of embarrassing for a professional broadcaster.

Not at the races yet, but early days if we can find a goal or change the formation
Some nice passing and movement at times but really lacking a goal threat. That goal was needing a Hanlon defending properly in the centre of defence.

Just bought the Premier Sports matchday pass. Make it £9.99 well spent Rovers.

That Lewis Stevenson video is incredible. Brilliant work from the media team.

Easy to forget that we’re starting these games with a third choice centre back who was playing in the Lowland League last season. He’s done reasonably well but would much rather have had Watson/Murray, Murray/Ashcroft or Watson/Ashcroft.

Frustrating night. When it started it looked like we’d be blown away. At 2-0 down I thought it was over. But that goal gives us hope. They are the better team but if we play football then we cause them problems. Absolutely nothing to lose on Sunday. Go up there and take the game to them. If we go a goal down then just go full Murrayball and enjoy it. It’s been a great ride.
On the food thing, don’t know the figures but hard to stress just how much the catering has improved under the new board. Before it was absolutely garbage with cheap nasty pies and even cheaper burgers. Most never went near it. Now it’s Stuart’s pies, Bridies, hot dogs, popcorn for kids and the joy that is the Rover’s Empire biscuit. The queues are ridiculous. Think we also get to keep the takings now rather than the provider taking the lions share.. 500% sounds low tbh.

Christ there’s going to be some meltdown amongst the plastic pitch bedwetters if we go up. Was an artificial pitch sceptic at first, but it’s been brilliant for Rovers. Plays brilliantly, games never in danger of being off and Stark’s Park now gets used by the whole community which has brought the town closer to the football club. Not one opposition player or manager has criticised it, even though we’ve a good home record this season. Says it all.

Please leave the crowd w**k/size of club pish to deluded arseholes likes Falkirk and Dunfermline. Anyone supporting their local team and not the fucking OF is to be applauded. Every club is exactly where they deserve to be.

North East now open up at Dingwall

Only 60 odd seats left in the South Stand for Thursday. Mostly right down the front. Surely only a matter of time until they open the North for home fans.

Would honestly prefer Liam Fox to Lennon. Hopefully it’s neither. Has the Scott Brown rumour been squashed? Could it be him and they are waiting to announce until after we play them Saturday to avoid a circus?
