Here's a chance for the MSG to redeem themselves:
Sack Mckinnon, get Houston back with Lee Miller as his assistant with a remit to both get us back up and groom Miller to take the manager's job in due course. Houston was bad at recruitment but bloody good at organising a team and changing tactics if things weren't working. I believe, with a couple of exceptions, we have a good team who need leadership and guidance. Both are seen as Falkirk men by the fans and that would go a long way to getting the fans behind the team again.
With the space this will buy them, get a new BOD sorted out - preferably with fan's involvement but at the very least clear out those involved in the bad decisions made in the last 3 years.
I’m well up for this tbh.

I'm hoping the budget has simply been boosted by the first tranche of the Will Vaulks money. I was hoping that a new manager would get the second tranche to play with but that now looks unlikely.
There’s no new manager coming in this season. We’ll be stuck with Ray for this season at least.
The club is actual so dead from top to bottom. At the point where I could not care less about it.

Difficult job to take. Ayr are probably as high as they are going to get the now. You would expect them only to go one way but the fans may have higher expectations now.
What a load of shite.

Some of the comments on here this week (I can't understand why so much this week given the Forfar performance) haven't aged well this afternoon.
The next 2 games are properly tough games and a collective holding of nerve is required. No really, cause that yesterday was a big improvement on the game last week.

The most I’ve enjoyed a Bairns game this season.

It was a shame we didnt have the likes of Biabi and Blair in the 2016/17 season when we actually needed them. Baird and McHugh were struggling but O'hara still couldnt buy a game and Blair would've been a far better option than the likes of John Rankin and Joe Mckee.
Surely you’re no talking about Ryan Blair?

Where did I say drop folk who are playing well ?
If youd rather have watched Gasparoto play right back when we had an u19 Scotland right back, then fair play
We had other options over the 3 yr under Houston but it was always the easy option
Funnily enough that “easy” option took us to a Scottish cup final, a play off final and a play off semi final.
He wasn’t perfect Houston and did sign some stinkers but to say he’s one of the main reasons the academy got canned is just absolutely mental from you.

For me it will always be the three seasons of Houston the downfall of the academy, there was no chance anyone from the academy were getting a look in.
We had an under 19 Scotland right back and whilst Gasparotto played like a donkey there, O'Hara scores a hat trick in the reserves and couldnt even get a place on the bench when Miller was bailing out McHugh and Baird most weeks struggling to hit a barn door. Houston only gave the academy players a chance when there was no one else to play or when his signings failed, see Gallacher and Botti Biabi
I am not suggesting these players were gonna make us money or take us to promotion but you really have to bleed youngsters to see if they sink or swim and not have players play out of position or sign journey men to sit on the bench or physio bench, which happened under Houston for 3 years.
They didni get a game cause they weren’t good enough and we had a team that was pushing for promotion.
What’s Houston meant to do? Drop folk who are playing well for the sake of bleeding a young boy to see if he’s shite or no? Get a grip man.

No really. Most clubs our size with this size of a budget advantage have strolled this league. Queens, sevco, dunfermline once they had sorted themselves out and Livi. Wasn't really too much to ask that we could do it but we have a useless clown in charge unfortunately.
Please stop taking everything so literally.

Never witnessed The Bairns at this level before, so decided at the start of the new season to put an IG a page together to document it.
Seemed a good idea at first, then we played our first league game and I realised this page will only serve as a grim reminder of our current state.
Either way, it’s started now, so enjoy (if possible):

Tbf I’m with Shodwall.
This thread has been painful reading over the past month. Hank Von Hell being the biggest culprit.

The abuse Tidser gets from our support really is embarrassing imo.

Didn’t even realise we had a game last night. Soon as I saw the draw, I forgot about the fixture completely.
Really surprised folk would hand over cash to watch us play a youth team.

This is literally the best news of the year. Thank you especially to Clyde, Airdrie and Dumbarton for making this happen.
