If Morrison was going to go in the summer he would t have signed a new deal. He’s given all the power back to the club in regards to deciding his future and will have put off many clubs who may have taken him on a free but won’t/can’t pay a fee for him. He’ll stay so you can chill out on that one

McGlynn obviously didn’t want to use any of the January budget on a goalie (or hinder the progress of a young player by recalling him from a loan to sit him on the bench) so agreed to give him more game time. I was yes, it was painful. Whilst I get your point I don’t think it’s all that relevant. It’s not as if Hogarth is really any better and both have very similar strengths and weaknesses. My point stands, it doesn’t make any difference to our season which goalie is between the sticks as neither is any better or any worse than the other.

There is f**k all between the goalies. Both are capable of making decent saves and both are prone to a clanger. It makes f**k all difference to our season which one plays.

It’s almost as if the people in the club knew it might take 2 years to get here from the position we were in - lowest league position in a generation and hampered by Holts signings. As we now prepare for the championship we have the likes of Lang, Spencer and Miller tied up for another season and others like McGinn, McKay, Oliver out of contract. Im sure we’re all glad the club had a bit of foresight and didn’t panic of the Airdrie debacle.
