Didn’t know it didn’t end well at Arthurlie , but personally I would like to see some fresh talent in the managerial ranks even with the risks associated instead of the same old faces as safe as they may be .

Would Billy Ogilvie be worth a shout ? . Did relatively well with EK . Has had success with QP youth teams and knows the market etc .

Fair enough .., Tam McManus may not be the most thorough of reporters .... I could care less , but you can’t deny the job Hopkin has done . I’m sure a fair few other Championship teams would love to be having a crack at Partick Thistle for a place in the Premiership .

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I’m not a Livi fan and don’t pretend to have an in depth knowledge of their previous financial issues, but with regard to putting a winning team on the pitch with their current budget ... I’m impressed with the job Hopkin has done.

Gotta say ... think your team and fans reflect your manager ... relentless , aggressive and committed to the cause . That was a belting atmosphere . Not going to pretend we’re Livi fans or jump on any bandwagon .... but we’re developing a very big soft spot for you guys .

It was the first thing the wee man asked on way back to car . Afraid I’m night shift ..., but if you get Thistle ... (being from Glasgow ourselves) we might go to second leg .

In hindsight , kinda wish we’d jumped in with Falkirk support ... looked like you were having more fun in the rain on that “traditional terracing”

Went along to the game with my son today as a neutral (taking advantage of kids go free promo) . Always wanted to visit Cappielow and excited to see Falkirk after bodying Dundee Utd. Really enjoyed watching Falkirk ... thought you won the battle and started to play all the football as far as I could see. Team looked far fitter and leaner than Morton. Impressed with Sibbald and Grant .. never stopped organising and won just about everything. Respect to the fans on the open end terrace . All the best for the rest of season.
