The head to heads against Hearts, Rangers and Hibs haven't been great but haven't really been what's worried me this season. Results wise we've drawn away to Hibs, drawn at home to Rangers and lost away to Hearts. Outplayed by both Rangers and Hearts, but competitive in both (and escaped with a point in the first). The Hibs game (in the league) I actually thought Aberdeen were worthy of their point and could easily have got 3 from it. Hibs had all the possession but they were chasing the game. They opened Aberdeen up once in the second half and scored from it. Fair enough they deserve the point for that, but I thought largely Aberdeen did well in that game.

What concerns me more is the games against the 'lesser' teams. Losing at home to Kilmarnock, drawing to St Johnstone and struggling to beat Dundee, it just feels like those games are more of a struggle than they previously were. A comfortable, if uninspiring, win against Motherwell and a very good performance against St Mirren are really the only domestic games to feel positive about this season.

“Lesser team “check the league table and the form table mate.

Phenominal response from Celtic about the rescheduling of the semi final.

Bitching that he has never been to Murrayfield before. Suggesting that having played there for three games last year that Hearts have an advantage.  There will be three players at the most from last year left for this game and the pitch will be much bigger.

How many times did Celtic play at Hampden over the last few years? Compared with Hearts big fat zero.

Celtic and Rogers truely are a bit thick.

Only in Scotland would your national stadium have designated ends for 2 specific teams. They really don’t realise that the authorities have pandered to them both for years and the minute they get a decision they don’t like they fucking whinge big style.

Good on him. It’s about time managers started taking the hierarchy to task over their continual mistreatment of the smaller clubs. Clarke having a go at the SFA and Wright has taken Scott Gemmill to task over the under 21s. It’s refreshing to see managers now stick up for their teams in the media.

Don’t worry the Glasgow media will twist it to make him look a c**t.

Me too.  Whilst I have ultimate faith in SSC and AD, we're out the league cup and league matches are slowly passing by while we have, in my opinion, a slightly under strength squad.  Not that I want us to panic buy, but I'd like us to announce Tshibola and Stewart, stat.

2 league games past by and 4 points out of 6, out of cup to team who have spent millions ( which they probably don’t have) wouldn’t get to up tight.

    Generous. Lol.

You’re trying to nick their most promising talent in the January window when he will be very difficult to replace.

There’s nothing ‘generous’ about it. It’s a transfer market, you pay the amount that convinces killie to let him go.

Offered £150 000 up front and wanted the rest paid up with add ons by all accounts.

Aberdeen avoided a 3-team playoff involving themselves, Dunfermline & Falkirk because Falkirk did not have a stadium that met SPL criteria.

The playoff would have seen 2 out of 3 go into the SPL as it was expanding to 12 from 10 teams. As Falkirk had not built a suitable stadium they were excluded from the playoff and Dunfermline & Aberdeen took the 2 SPL places.

    HTH

    How fortunate
