  1. This seems to happen at Cambuslang every season, they sign some players with decent pedigree then a couple of months later they end up on the transfer list
  2. Cambuslang Rangers 3 Lesmahagow 2 Two injury goals won it for Camby. Hat trick from Carlos Lyon
  3. Was there a decent crowd last night or did the Euros semi impact on it? Would have came down to watch but opted to watch the game on the tv
  4. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/former-rangers-defender-among-cambuslang-33161672?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR1_k5FTvvJ63PUB-kOqeq8ve97_6XcQ2bs2wMxzEJ4Mv-JAxcE_0bnaHbw_aem_MckWw8uGCZgc4HGapZS3cw#Echobox=1720243206 few names for you here. Geggan and McMillan decent calibre

Andy Geggan will do a decent job at that level still
  6. Ross McKenzie and Conor McGlinchey both leaving Johnstone Burgh for Darvel
  7. Where is it Giffnock currently play? Is it an astro at St Ninians High?
  8. I would say 300-400 or so in attendance at Somervell today so hopefully a decent financial boost for the club.
  9. iv been to a couple of Legends games up at Somervell and they usually pull a decent crowd. £10 a head for adults is only a couple of hundred to give them the couple of grand they are looking for. Weather is supposed to be cracking so I can see a lot heading down for the day out with no other football on
  10. Doesn’t really do irony does he? Wasn’t long ago he was chucking money at Cambuslang. Can’t help but feel he is getting excuses in already for next season.
  11. Spoke to an old friend up at the Burgh a few months back who said to me the budget they were looking at if they were promoted was considerably higher than last season. I wonder if some of those who have left are making their own decisions based on game time etc
  12. Nice weather always helps get the punters out to any game
  13. My local team, try and get along to their games when I can. I used to play Junior before I moved to Cambuslang and Somervell was my favourite away ground, the pitch was usually in really good nick and the place was well looked after. Unfortunately the pitch now is one of the worst at its level and the ground looks dilipidated. The committee seems to have dried up and it now seems as though Paul McColl is the only person on the scene which, although his heart may be in the right place, a one man show is never good for any club. They put a post up on Facebook at the start of the season looking for helpers so I messaged back saying I'd be interested in helping out when I had availability but I never got a response. I don't know what the future holds for them but I think there needs to be changes. The reputation of the club also took a bit of a battering over recent years which is a real shame as its a club in a town with a decent sized population and there is potential for them to be a lot better than what they are.
  14. One win out of three for Johnstone Burgh will see them promoted. A couple of weeks ago their season really looked like it was unravelling. good win for Cambuslang aswell today at the other end to give themselves a chance
