And what football team do you play with?
That wasn't the question and to be honest my second point was more of a 'has he suddenly developed' than a dig which is great when written in text. However it does make you wonder why the typical stand out players (not insinuating myself as I can hardly kick a ball) don't move onto semi-pro or senior football - maybe that's why we've failed to qualify for a competitive tournament in over 20 years?

Is Luke McGowan doing any good down in Ayr? I used to play boys club with him and imo he was never a 'stand out' player with us?

Was holidaying in Spain at the time mate.
Our boat was radioed that a boat was catching a huge marlin weighing a few hundred pounds about a mile from us when we were sea fishing in Gran Canaria last year. Our boat never sniffed a thing all day though. I spent abour an hour spewing over the back of a boat with a hangover. Lesson learned
Fishing in Scotland is sadly dying on its arse. Hear the stories of yesterday with big salmon runs and canals teaming with fish. The Forth and Clyde is a shadow of its former glory. Fished it all over the central belt. Plenty perch and the odd pike of a pound or two but no monsters.
Monklands canal in coatbridge was netted a few years ago but some small fish survived. Caught a pike in there about 3/4 pounds. Unfortunately its full of bams and the water is unmaintained (if thats a word). All sorts of shit thrown in it all over the place.
Trawling as killed the Clyde, not sure about the Forth. Also idiots or inexperienced people (you can usually tell the difference) keeping smaller fish has killed the ecosystem.

Ross MacLean joins on year long loan from Motherwell.
Deal includes a recall option after 6 months depending on his performance which suggests to me he might be a decent player for us?

Interestingly the article from GMFC.net McKinnon also also suggests that Jamie McGowan could have a second chance with Morton:
The Ton boss also revealed that he has invited goalkeeper Jamie McGowan, whose contract expired at the end of last season, in for pre-season training in order to have a look at the 21-year-old.
He added: “Young Jamie is coming in this week as well. I want to have a look at him because I heard he was decent. There might be an opportunity for him to stay at the club if he impresses.”

Hopefully The Journey is as good as the past two editions especially with the added dynamic of the CL - I've really enjoyed it although I know some people haven't. Apparently there's also some new changes coming to the way players take a first touch and the shooting engine (no longer double tab for an on the ground shot).

Read the twitter thread, my mobile fucked it up apparently.

I just seen on Twitter that the club still hasn’t been in touch with our goalkeepers. I wonder if this means we have someone else in the pipeline or the fact we have so many players out of contract he wasn’t first on the list?

Thinking about getting the Pixel 2 XL to replace my iPhone 7 although I heard the Pixel 3 was coming out - based on the differences between the 1 & 2, is it worth me waiting for the 3 or will it be like moving from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone 7?

Doing a rotation then for this reason?

Whenever Higgins loses especially when he's missing some of the shots he has I always question his past..

Any news on signings for next season?
I suspect we'll see some movement in June & July although hopefully this time it'll be better players that we need with some pace, we'll probably see contract renewals soon - if not done already Iredales should be extended.

Would it maybe make sense to have some sort of penalty for rejecting promotion say two seasons in a row to attempt to stop clubs blocking other clubs from progressing or if a club rejects promotion the runners up are offered promotion?

Okay - who broke the Morton forum?
Hopefully they're making it so it actually accepts registrations - I've tried to create about 10 accounts and never get the confirmation emails.

A great first round for Scottish football so far assuming no one fucks up! It'd be great to see all teams involved progress further than Round 2 and maybe even beyond.. how would all clubs doing well affect the coefficient?
