  1. With the restrictions for legal social distancing etc is the Muirton likely to be open (to limited numbers) a week on Thursday?
  2. Exactly what I was thinking. I could be proved wrong but I imagine it'll be as little as possible. 5,000. I guess it depends on what they want proven/evidenced etc but at the moment are apparently demanding a seating plan, if that continues it doesn't look good.
  3. It really is unbelievably simple. The decision is not the clubs to make. The council are not willing to approve allowing fans who do not have a St. Johnstone season ticket holder into the stadium.
  4. I'm sure there will be an feature length video coming to explain to them how it works.
  5. The moronic seethe from Motherwell fans about not being able to attend on Sunday shows how thick they are in that neck of the woods. "rIdICuLoUs!!!"
  6. The difficulty is how to do you measure or prove "keep spectators safe". For me that just ends up with clubs continuing to enforce social distancing because how else can they prove they're keeping anyone " " Safe " ". For example as you'll know Council in Perth just do not like the idea of away fans. I believe they also want a complete seating plan etc.
  7. Which if that's the kind of restrictions then I see nothing wrong with that. Encouraging folk to wash their hands covid or not is a policy I'm all for anyway!!!
  8. Nope. Nor till nearer the end of the window do I see us bringing anyone else in beyond the big Finnish beast.
  9. I think its because the players in question are both players we've shown interest in.
  10. I'm sure he will. I'm not one who greets about him, ex dentist etc blah blah. Don't mind him and fair play to him for going on and facing up to questioning but his answer will be along the lines of (Cliché ridden) "The virus isn't gone, it's a dangerous, deadly virus so we still need to be careful. Need to make sure with big crowds that we continue to control the spread of the virus. It won't be forever as we continue with the second vaccines".
  11. At the time I thought it was a complete PR exercise as it represents very little. Time will tell though!
  12. I'm just grumpy because it's up tor the council. Currently the council are enforcing strict "season ticket holders only" in Perth. European games coming up etc. No doubt be limited to the minimum.
  13. That was also a first leg. If we get a doing this week then we won't need more then 5,000 next week
  14. The second there is an outbreak linked to football crowds, football will be clamped right down on.
  15. Pigs can also fly. This is the same council restricting Saturday (IMO) overly heavily. Can't see them having a change of heart and become keen to allow crowds within the space of a few days.
  16. Just wait till they let Perth and Kinross council loose with the new rules. They'll have a field day.
  17. "yOuR uNdEr vAlUInG oUr lEaGuE." While 8m is about to go down the fucking pisser. Good luck getting another sponsor now. Rules need tightening up to stop individual clubs and their selfish pish from damaging the rest.
  18. Is there not risk of the opposite? Naturally Cinch will get the best exposure from games most watched on TV/in person. If they're not getting the exposure they expected due to Rangers boycotting you could see less money being paid/cinch triggering termination of the deal early as I imagine there will be clauses along those lines to protect both sides.
  19. Presume we should hear an announcement regarding the home leg tomorrow afternoon after the announcement and any post clarifications required.
  20. It's a bit 'unique' in its layout, but I'd hardly describe it as a tip unless you'd prefer watching a game at a standard lego kit of a ground as opposed to the likes of Somerset or Gayfield. As a United fan he's probably well qualified to know what a dump is tbh...
  21. Ross County stewards attempted to try similar on Saturday but v quickly gave up. It's a nonsense. As much as wearing a mask in a shop etc doesn't bother me one bit, let's not continue on with this mask nonsense outside.
