  1. Rangers fans too preoccupied with bigger fish to fry and not bothered about the league to post for this.
After the result against the green cheeks anything is possible but with Jonah suspended and a few injuries from the Livi game I’d settle for a minor defeat or a draw.
Fair play to any buddie willing to shell out £31 to attend.

Already seen this argument being made and I don’t think it matters. Biggest club in the world, European champions, visiting an iconic stadium they’ve never been to before in Glasgow (not exactly the ends of the earth) and they’ve taken less away fans than most SPFL club supporters would take. It’s embarrassing. As someone alluded to earlier, Real Madrid are indeed an insufferable club supported by total gimps. I really don’t like them.

I don’t travel to Celtic park from Glasgow due to restricted view/ rip off prices/ heavy handed stewarding so can’t possibly expect the Real faithful to cough up their well earned Euros to suffer the same.

Nah, guaranteed to be ‘the battle of the Saints’.  Sportscene will be a shoo-in. Or is it shoe-in? Never thought much about how you type it, but I digress… as Sportscene finally reaches our game, and behind big handsome Thommo the two club logos appear, the intro will be… ‘and now to McDiarmid Park for the battle of the Saints. St Mirren went into this one on a good run of form, while the home side looked to bounce back from…. Let’s see how it went…Commentary from Cunty McCuntface….’

Bookmark this. Stick a tenner on with your online bookie. No, make it twenty.

I think Cunty is doing the Motherwell game.

  4. In Portugal the league has been won by either Porto, Sporting or Benfica every year since 1944-45 except 2000 when Boavista won it, in the Eredivisie the league has been won by Ajax, Feyenoord or PSV since 1964 except for AZ in 1981 and 2009 and Twente the year after. Scotland is a smaller country than either Portugal or the Netherlands but we are nowhere near the monopoly these other clubs have enjoyed, I can only wish that with both cheeks focusing on CL they may have some bumps in the league which Aberdeen, Hibs or someone like St Mirren or Motherwell can capitalise on and make a go at it.

Agree about Brophy but I don't see it as a bad thing. We've had many strikers over the years who'd try and walk the ball into the net, so I wouldn't want to criticise a striker too much for shooting.

To answer your question, when all fully fit then Brophy starts for me. Although Ayunga was good yesterday and Main was ok too, so fair enough if they keep their spots for next week.

There was no link up between the strikers on Saturday, they were so far apart and don’t like to pass to each other or create a space which doesn’t happen with Greive.
