Pre season friendlies I usually don’t take much from. My only worry from that game though I’d that all who warned us about Millen are right. Ross looked confident, brown looks a good pickup, Easton looks like what we’ve been missing since hendry. Very very impressed with Mitchell when he came on and hope he gets a good kick about on Saturday, arnott looked good get into good positions, gullan made some fantastic runs and really looked like he’s ready for the season, trialist looked a very handy player. I don’t however understand why bringing in a trialist and not even giving the boy a minute?

Just picked up my top order, didn’t get either kits last year to wear as such, the girlfriend got me the home kit signed by the team for birthday but wasn’t too fond of either last season. This home kit really grabbed me though, no over the top shite, also good to see no stick on sponsor on the back for the carrs seen as all my other rovers tops are now missing them. Surprised not to have seen any transfer talk recently? Is Murray really thinking dick and Berra at the back until Lang is back?

I am pretty sure Smith is only signed until January as cover, either Lennox or Cuthbert will be back by then and Smith can be released freeing up a wage for an out field player.

Surely 6-8 weeks will be until he's back to slow training, full training usually doesn't follow for an extra 2-3 weeks so wouldn't be surprised if it's anything over 12 till he's fully match fit0 -
