Should the names be changed, if so what should they be changed to align with up to date preferences?

As ludicrous as offence taken to david hume

  2. You're right

    It's a non story

A Scottish business person,  made a peer after bribing the current foreign secretary former pm architect of brexit which has worsened the UK, and her husband are crooks

Deserved an evening of headlines in the Scottish press, about the same duration as our only oil refinery is shutting

However WhatsApp and ipad wanking, get that churned out for 2 weeks worth each

As I said,  did well to find it

Just looked on mirror news uk headlines,  story doesn't feature

Nor does it on guardian uk news headlines

Neither on bbc news Scotland headlines,  though they do have story about cosla being in dispute with ministers and another on long awaited ferry trial

I see what you mean but it won't be funny for voters in Scotland.

We'd end up with ANOTHER Tory government we didn't vote for.  Someone alive on the day that Tories/Conservative sorts last won a majority of Scottish Westminster seats has now reached state pension age.  It's that long.

Voting in a Labour government just delays by a few years the election of another Tory one.  Get them all to f.

We didn't have a labour govt 'we voted for' the last time

We had the version the s east of england will vote for

Also Sarwar was on stv last night issueing branch office language.  Backtracking on gender reform bill he whipped his msp's to vote for cause his boss says so...as an example

  5. He's right though

So criticism of Israel,  even a swear word, is antisemitism

They are currently genuinely ethnic cleansing

Do the uk Jewish lobby groups expect no criticism

Although is amusing starmer getting caught in the very trap he set for corbyn were there was also barely any genuine antisemitism within the party,  0.01 % of the membership by metric of complaints made against them

I see Mone and Barrowmans racehorses are not subject to their asset freeze and they will continue to run in their name and colours. One of their horses is 3rd fav anti post for the National. It would be unheard of for winning owners of a GN horse not to be there on the day. Usually that would result in massive publicity especially when they come from outwith the racing community.

Amazing you managed to see this as won't be getting run by msm

They're busy talking about ipad wanking sessions ot WhatsApp threads

I watched the Irish broadcast of the game yesterday and Rob Kearney Matt Williams and Shane Horgan were tripping over themselves in the studio to back the TMO decision. Possibly because they knew it's good for Ireland over the championship, but I found it absolutely wild as they'd have been the exact opposite had Ireland been on the end of it.

Two irishmen and a man who makes money from being on irish tv

I haven't watched QT for years, but that particular Lord is a bloke in whom his own party had relatively little faith and who failed to be elected when put before the voters. In the finest traditions of the UK system of government, having failed in the democratic process, he is put into the House of Lords and ends up in the Government of Scotland.

It still astounds me that folk put up with that nonsense.

As well as the above mentioned,  a 'journalist' from the below publication was invited on the programme

@ScotiaNostra is absolutely spot on that the SNP need to change. You can't have a clown like Yousaf in charge (put there as the 'continuity' candidate), and as he says just limp along lurching from scandal to scandal in recent times, and just expect folk to continue voting for you, just because it's the 'only route' to Indy.

Get a serious leader and a serious programme for govt and Indy again, post GE, and then make the prospect of Indy more attractive to soft 'No's' and 'Don't Knows'.

Meanwhile, as said, I have been very disappointed in Labour's recent performance. However, it is also right that they need to make a serious move on Devolution as well post GE, and Sarwar should be in a position to capitalise.

They still aren't 'just the same as the Tories' (although recent rhetoric..bankers bonuses et al) has to stop, and they need to be brave enough to stand by the 'good' policies, previously proposed.

Both parties need to 'do better' although Labour are in better shape to do so at the moment.

Nothing that has occurred amounts to a scandal (unless you're in the Scottish press)

Selling arms to Iran and pretending you're not is a scandal

So, Brown, Milliband, and particularly Corbyn weren't 'hounded' and vilified by the mainstream media, on different platforms, newsprint, TV, radio, and Social Media?

It's 'only' the SNP who come in for 'any' criticism....seriously?

    By the Scottish press,  yes

It was the newsnight team digging into barrowman

The Scottish press pack haven't even bothered

It really isn’t a non-story.  Despite what you might think about it the notional idea of the enquiry is to understand what went on during the pandemic to learn lessons.  Without access to all the information it can’t do that.  Whether it has a hope in hell of achieving those objectives even with all the information is an entirely different question.

It’s brought to light a somewhat lax attitude to record keeping by the Scottish Government so the processes can’t be examined.  Depending on your point of view this could be classed as stupidity, incompetence or an organised cover-up.

If it wasn’t an issue I doubt the FM would be apologising about it both in FMQ’s and at the enquiry itself or starting both an internal and external review about it.

    It really is

I think McLeod is good. Always informed, doesn't kid you on when you're watching shite, but obviously has a broad interest in football and is enthusiastic.

Best we have by a mile, imo.

    The commentary team are pointless

No one highlighting the cross for the goal wasn't defended

Not so sure.  Would you want to turn out for the shit show that is Wales at the moment and get gubbed constantly?  Then add in turning out for a Welsh region and get gubbed weekly.

He plays(played) for Gloucester,  just beat Edinburgh at weekend in european competition

Anyway,  good luck to him but no guarantee of anything in other sport and he was already at pinnacle,  a lion, of this one
