40 years going to Gayfield, these are by far the best gravy days I’ve witnessed. Hence, not getting overly exercised when things aren’t going to plan. Very proud of my wee club!

Naive tonight. Wrong selection, wrong starting 11. We all know we’re short in a few areas, no doubt the club have been trying hard to fix this. Will be interesting to see how we fare against other sides and if DUFC railroad more teams than us. Not worried…… for now! No point losing the head at the minute.

I’ve done 30 years hard labour at Gayfield (and the many other far flung sh*tholes of Scottish football), I’m allowed some time off for good behaviour!

Find all the angst about Blair Yule laughable. Put in a great shift for us and has prioritised work/life over football. Same reason I can’t get to Gayfield as often as I’d like. Good luck Blair.

Whilst I agree with a lot that's said about Swankie I can't agree that he was exclusively terrible on Saturday. When we were playing well in the first half I thought he was having a good game, good touch and nice accurate, clever passes. That said, yes, he wasn't great in the second half..... who was? He's not a game chaser, I would have hooked him at half time and put on someone with more fight in them. I also hope Hester gets a chance to prove himself over the next few weeks. It could be a make or break month for him.
