The 3 year "rolling" contract looks daft now. Though it does suggest they would only have to pay up 6 months of the deal, if it was done correctly. So probably not.

The GB appointment was 100% agreed before the Bunnet was pushed, by a board member whose name heavily features in this thread.

Things could have been different, no doubt. Feels like the club has gone backwards at an alarming rate at the wrong time. I don't doubt these conversations must be going on at board level, and we all want RMcK to turn it round and succeed.

To be clear, I'm not saying that was the wrong decision. But everything that has followed has been a near disasterclass

I'm not saying there weren't high points. But I genuinely believe the club has never recovered from the fallout of sacking DC.

Survival this season will rely on there being one worse side than Forfar. I'm not convinced there is.

Refereeing is at the highest standard it has ever been.

I always want Forfar to win as many games as possible. I find as I grow older its possible to enjoy specific results, but not entire seasons, unless something memorable happens. I've seen some great performances in some "terrible" seasons, and some terrible performances in some "great" seasons. I don't subscribe to the idea that that football played under Gary Irvine was good at any point, though results were, at one point, for a short period of time.

So I should be happy we won some games? Did we not win games last season? So we should be giddy?

What did we get out of that season? Trophy? Promotion?

9th is very much the target. Not quite Irvine territory, but not that far away.
