Will see if I can find anyone at the game tomorrow to ask as I'd emailed the office a few times about match sponsorship and got no reply.  Clubs got my postal address as I got raffle tickets to sell not long ago.

    Thanks

Send me your email and I will forward it to you if you want bud

  2. Everyone knows the end goal with B teams is only 2 things.. Allowing the 2 arse cheeks to get a 2nd team in the leagues therefore allowing them to purchase any talent in Scotland and keep them in 1 of their teams until they decide if they are good enough or not. It’s just strengthening the position of 2 teams who are far and away already stronger than the rest, another example of the multiple advantages they receive to remain at the top of the league and take as much European money as they can.

The 2nd reason is so if the opportunity of a euro league arises, they can bolt at the earliest opportunity and still have a team in the Scottish leagues. It’s called forward planning and everyone knows this but the media won’t embarrass or call out their darlings.
Scottish fitba is corrupt and isn’t interested in creating a competitive product, just a duopoly fuelled by religion and hatred as out of date as
    racism, homophobia etc.

They don’t care if Hearts join in, it makes it less obvious what’s going on. And let’s face it if they fancy a player from Hearts B they will just take him.

    Hello,

I'm a season ticket holder but didn't receive any email recently, would anyone from the club be able to contact me at all to make sure my details are correct please?

Did you check your junk mail mate?

That would be as mythical as greg stewart ever being any good

It was officially 7,000 before sales this season but pretty sure some ended their wait before the start

    H2H

Greg Stewart was fantastic at Cowdenbeath, Dundee and Kilmarnock. Ok at sevco and a let down at the dons. Then fantastic in India.(not Ash Taylor’s wife to avoid any confusion, although she is also fantastic)

Annoyingly you have discovered some form, enjoy. Hopefully somebody takes Shankland in January as he is also annoyingly on form.
    Merry Xmas anyway

I think season ticket holders and maybe 100 members received it by email. It’s quite a lengthy statement and I don’t want to publish it on here.

It hasn’t gone to 100 club members yet. Well I dont have it anyway.

No idea. I am well and truly out of the loop sadly but obviously certain people have had sight of this?

Message the junction bar boys mate. I know who you are and that you know them well.
Cowdenbeath 0-3 who posted above about reading the statement is 1 of their organisers.

Needs SFA approval and they didn’t give it. Doesn’t say why

    Ok thanks.
that’s a shame, seems a good idea and would maybe open up the flow up and down permanently between the leagues which surely everyone now wants

Except he didn't do that, he specifically said he wouldn't defend Mastertons actions because they were really shitty.

I also don't understand your whole "can't claim the moral high ground", a couple of posts up you have @1GregStewart claiming that he (and other Cowdenbeath fans) wouldn't have voted for B teams and so can't be held to account, why is it that the same doesn't apply to @parsforlife or any other Pars fan that opposed Masterton?

Now, either every Cowdenbeath fan on this thread, is a B team shagging, Old Firm loving, sash singing c**t.

Or, you're probably guys and gals following your local club, with said club having the ability to put there foot right in it, and despite loving said club it's quite possible you don't always agree with their actions.

Now, I know which one I think it is, but if you are adament that no Pars fan can ever "claim the moral high ground", how should I judge you for signing Craig Thomson?

    Eh, not quite.

I was merely defending cowden fans regarding other fans beef with them, on a cowden discussion page.
Hardly the same as other fans going onto another clubs page and attacking those fans for a decision their board made.
PS f**k the pars and the B teams

Basically Cowden don’t want B teams but also don’t want a 30 game league campaign which is only other option as SFA vetoed a LL request to increase to 18 teams which would have allowed increased ventilation from / to Tier 6.

I don’t want B teams or a 30 game league so can sympathise with the shit options presented. The thought of 22 Saturdays without a game or taking part in the Acme Joiners and Plumbers Trophy or similar is not appealing. On balance would I prefer to see us fighting for 3 points against a B Team, Regrettably, Probably !

Mulraney and Maxwell must be laughing their balls off watching Clubs ripping into each other while they stop the pyramid developing.

What is the reason (s) that the LL is denied expanding to 18 teams?

Cowdenbeath fans with their usual bingo card of shite rather than just telling us why they keep voting for the B teams! It can't have been "the Conference League" like we were told last time.

    So what's the excuse?

It's a simple question that even your own supporters are asking

Eh, cowden fans didn’t vote for B teams, and a lot of them wouldn’t if they had the opportunity.
There’s a good few posters on here with basic comprehension issues.

Not sure I agree with the use of 'never'. Granted it would be ideal to have an increase of funds from somewhere but there's nothing to say that we need to break the bank in order to put a team on the park that could potentially win this league. Prudent spending on willing, decent players. We have a manager I feel knows what he's doing and a decent guy at that who cares about what he does.

Also that chat about it not being bad being in the Lowland League can get in the bin. The only plus side is the 2 games versus teams in the league. However give me the monotony of 4 games versus teams, entry to the next round of Scottish cup and entry into the league cup over this any day. We are where on merit (or rather, lack of) but the goal MUST be to get back up without doing a Berwick.

I said that because the budget is used up currently so a bigger squad isn’t possible realistically.

It’s worked against them the last few times so why change it? Our best chance of winning the cup was by getting in behind them. To do that, you need them to push up and have a high defensive line.

A lot will be made of having no shots on target but we had the ball in good areas a good few times, only to show a lack of composure or quality. I don’t think that’s Robson’s fault.

We were never going to outplay them and boss the ball so our best chance was to stifle Rangers and stay in the game for as long as possible, which we did. Unfortunately, our attacking threat largely wasn’t there.

We were 5-4-1 when we won at ibrox, not 3-5-2. The formation today conceded midfield before a ball was kicked.

I thought we were absolutely shite.

Defensively sound but if you don’t pose any threat then the inevitable will happen. A real disappointment.

    We were.

Was like a game against the old Glasgow Rangers, Robsons tactics were out of date and they were singing the billy boys(thought that was banned?).

1 touch then launch to try and put a forward directly in on goal. Alternatively sometimes just launch without the initial touch. What a masterclass from Robson.

Poor formation/ starting line up conceding the midfield and throw in Ruby doing Ruby things on a few occasions and Hayes doing Hayes things in possession and realistically we never had a chance.

TBH the lowland league isn't too bad a place to be, much better to play each team only twice instead of four times.

There’s an obvious argument for both sides of that.
the 4 league divisions are smaller and play  each other 4 times, almost every single game of the season has meaning and something to play for. Quite early in the season it’s apparent that a section of the 18 team non leagues have nothing to play for as aren’t going up or down.

I genuinely think we are 3 or 4 decent signings away from having a side that could potentially win the league next. The squad depth isn't really there this season and we have been very unlucky with injuries but then that's the risk of running a thin squad. We've led a large number of games only to be undone in the last few minutes a silly amount of times.

I know it's very much a 'if my aunty had baws she'd be my uncle' situation but a bigger/better squad to choose from next season and cut out the silly goals, we won't be too far away. The league outwith the top 2 and bottom 2 is tighter than a ducks arse.

Never going to have a bigger better squad. The money isn’t there for a big squad.
