Jack Ross turning down his boyhood club Dundee because he didn’t want to relocate, then agreeing to manage their arch rivals from the same street a few weeks later is peak Cinch.
Where does this he's a 'Dundee fan' thing come from?
I played youth football with him for a couple of years and don't recall him being a Dee.

Is it cathcart road, over prospecthill, then onto the motorway at Polmadie? Even at normal times that's brutal. There's lots of other ways you can go to avoid it. Where do you normally park?
Yeah - exactly that. Parked at the Clyde Valley College last night and last week.

Just home. f**k taking the car again. Cathcart Rd to M74 took longer than the journey back to Dundee.
This was my experience too. Two Wednesday nights in a row I've took the car - never again.
And yet I often I read on line of folks saying how quickly they got away. Back in the house for half ten etc ..

We're most probably not the only team, but it really does feel like we go into deep hibernation at the end of every season.
Three weeks ago the County game was now and not a cheep about pre-season friendlies, new shirts or new signings.
Surely some news this week...

Syngenta missed a load of chances v Bathgate. With goal difference now very tight between, I wonder if they may live to regret all those misses

Partly agree with the discipline issues but for both the players sent off in normal time their first bookings were abysmal. But for experienced players the second ones were criminal by them as in both cases there was no danger.
Am I right in thinking the second red was for the player who got booked for 'diving' even though (by complete accident) he got wiped out by a Whitehill player?

Whitehill (yes Whitehill have stumbled upon a semi final).
Massive credit to Andrew who hasnt had it easy since coming in.
Great result to keep the season going.
I think I've said before looking forward to what we can do next season but if youd said a few months ago wed be in a semi final I'd have said you were on something.
Mon the Welfare!!
Was quite a game last night. Went along as a neutral and fair enjoyed it.
Hard lines on 9 man Broxburn but they kind of brought it on theirselves with the constant berating of the ref, from both the players and the dugout. No doubt that the ref had a poor night (nothing more so than seemingly forgetting to start his watch at kick off and having to re-start the game) but you need to keep your discipline.
From a Whitehill perspective was impressed with the no. 6 in midfield and Ricky Miller's 'physique' continues to be at complete odds with his passing ability and general reading of the game - he was outstanding.
Extra time meant getting home a wee bit late, but as above, really enjoyed the game.

Will be surprised to see anything other than a continuation of our tactics from Sunday. I reckon, with goal difference in mind, Courts is going for damage limitation over these two games and will then gamble on our chances at Dingwall on Saturday.

I'd imagine no footballer would take kindly to their commitment and effort levels being questioned. But feel very entitled to do so after that today. Some of those players weren't bothering their arse. Chief culprit being Tony Watt who was rightly hooked.
Even allowing for all the changes the opposition made, they were always going to have better players than us. But to not put in the required hard work and effort is inexcusable.

As @Chapelhall chapsays, they’ll be up on the website this morning but keep an eye on the club’s twitter page too, they’ll post a link there whenever they’re ready.
It took me ages to get to sleep last night. I kept laughing at the absolute nonsense we saw yesterday, particularly Afolabi turning into prime Olivier Giroud when he came on. What a game.
His introduction did seem to be pivotal, although as I said before throughout the game I always thought Airdrie had a comeback in them.
Credit due to Ian Murray for his use of subs during the game

Took this game in as neutral. One of my better decisions!
Goes without saying that it was an incredible match. I always felt Airdrie had a big comeback in them .
Where can I find the highlights?

In fairness, you can see why on paper (and I mean very much on paper) why teams would be looking at him.
He's very 'modern', very 'on-trend', has us in with a great shout of European football, has played a rake of young players etc etc.
Obviously though, if you come and actually watch us, you begin to get the full story....

Tiffoney was poor last night, but aside from that, any time I've seen him I thought he's looked really good. He gave us a hard time in the cup tie at Firhill. MoTM was he not?
Would imagine, wages wise, we won't be paying out too much, so seems a gamble (every signing is a gamble) worth going for.

Thanks for that. Great help.
Are they home end tickets? Can't see a way to get away end tickets

Thinking of going to the game on Saturday. Would go in the Montrose end.
Is there cash turnstiles on the day, or do you need to buy tickets in advance?

Can someone enlighten me to exactly what a 'general mobilisation' is exactly?

It wasn't our lack of endeavour that done us against MyPa it was their striker absolutely destroying our defence iirc. Big Brazilian laddy.
Was it not more Paul Ritchie sticking his hand in the air hoping for offside rather than playing the ball
The Brazilian boy was honking if my memory serves me right.

Thought Meekison and Graham player really well. Meekison's touch in the build up to the goal was sublime. Graham plays and behaves like a future captain.
Were a bit fortunate with Motherwell hitting the woodwork twice, but on balance I think we deserved the three points.
Not sure how I felt about Mulgrew in midfield, but I can appreciate why Courts felt the need to bolster out very lightweight midfield.

I can't be the only one who can't fathom out why Courts doesn't throw Edwards forward for the last ten minutes of a game when we're losing narrowly. Especially given he's now outscoring one of our main strikers

Appere with a goal and two assists today.
I know he's dropped a level but I never thought he got a fair crack of the whip as a centre forward at Tannadice (and on the rare occasions he did, he done pretty decent I thought). Certainly not the same crack of the whip that McNulty currently enjoys.

Been reading the most common cause of this is a loose / broken petrol cap. The rubber seal has a shit load of wee cracks so I suppose it might just be that.
Ordered a new cap (might just take the seal off it) from Amazon and getting delivered tomorrow. Hopefully that'll fix it and that's all it's down to. (I fear it's something a bit more sinister though.)

The 'check engine' light on my car (ten year old) has illuminated yellow. The car is driving fine, but will need to get it checked out. Problem is I'm away down to Manchester on Wednesday and back on Saturday. Doubt a garage will look at it in that timeframe, so unsure whether to risk driving it down there in its current condition. Any advice / thoughts?

Poor guy has no idea what’s going on-
Is he not, perhaps, actually correct in that Russia *is* at war with the West? It's just that Ukraine is the rather unfortunate front for the West?
If it wasn't for Ukraine adopting Western ideologies as they did, suffice to say Russia wouldn't be invading.
But yes, his smiles and general persona suggest he's no idea what's in store for him.

Took the game in as a neautral last night. Who was the wee guy who came on as a sub at the same time as Innes Cameron? Looked a talent on last night's evidence.
