There’s a St Mirren fan in Auchterarder?
I doubt it as we have neither a methadone program or needle exchange.

Pie and Bovril's least-liked St J posters of 2020:
It gives me no pleasure in reporting that St Johnstone have an odd bunch of posters with a permanent chip on their shoulder regarding just about anything to do with football. From Liam Henderson being fouled in their penalty box, to FK Trakai actually being a world class squad of footballers which we're all just too culturally ignorant to understand, to explaining away the plateau of attendances at McDiarmid during Their Most Successful Era Ever™, there's simply no hill too small for them to die on. Take the below as just one of many examples:
Quite stunning levels of delusion there, although it was nice of Bonsky to wish St Mirren fans a happy New Year at the end of that bizarre outburst. On with the votes!
3rd - @Doctor, @Radford, @Lang Toon Saintee, @Old Pack and @Bonksy+HisChristianParade all cram onto the podium in a real rogue's gallery of poor Perth posting.
2nd - @tree house tam does the double, second best and second worst St Johnstone poster. Congratulations, Tam, but you were no match for your leader...
1st - @RandomGuy. wins it all, which I'm sure he'll claim as some sort of victory/whoosh as he's been trying to do all along on this thread. Here's three of my favourite quotes about RG, one of which came from a fellow Saintee:
-
“just f**k off with the boring stats, we were all watching the game you utter c**t.”
-
“Tries far too hard and nobody gives the slightest f**k in who has used their big left toe more times than anyone else to cross the ball in from the right.”
- “I will come back with a run down of the clubs best and worst but while this is starting up I just wanna make sure I nominate RANDOM GUY as worst St J poster. He's a weird stat nonce.” (editor's note: the poster never did come back and get the rest of their votes in. )
Anyway, that's your lot for the P&B 2020 best/worst posters awards. This has been an unmitigated disaster, and I sincerely hope that this time next year, a widespread vaccine rollout means that we'll all have far better things to be getting on with in our lives.
I would like to extend in my best wishes to all, even the haters and losers, on this special date, Hogmanay.
Wow thanks for the nomination, you have clearly recognised me for what I am..Just goes to show that ( contrary to public perception) not all fans of The Edinburgh Irish are lowbrow brain aaddled junkies..

Being so tight we failed to pay 28 staff even the minimum wage then following it up with a statement basically claiming they didn't do anything wrong but couldn't prove otherwise is an issue tbh.
Hardly surprising though.
It was 14 grand over a five year period so going by your figure of 28 staff that would work out at two quid per person per week

Anybody else think that we need to replace our goalkeeping coach ?

I said some time ago that I had an uneasy feeling about Melemed..I don't know what's going on there but something is not right. When CD said that he wanted to bring a striker in and I'm sure he was not talking about a fourth choice striker who would hardly kick a ball in anger.. There is a great difference between playing all your football in the blistering heat of Israel and playing on heavy pitches in a cold Scottish winter..Could we see a mutually agreed termination in January ?

I mean, you realise showing me a few numbers that show we "dominated", in a game we couldn't win in 120 minutes, isn't exactly telling me we weren't shite, dont you?
The vast majority of our possession was along the backline.
Yawn !

Apologies to Dunfermline for knocking them out, we didn't deserve to go through.
Where does Davidson go from here? Another different set up, same issues. Players have to take a massive dose of the blame, everythings so sloppy.
" Didn't deserve to go through " Really !!??

Strong looking squad with only MOH missing due to the assault carried out by (Neanderthal freak ) Scott Brown.Bit harsh on Rooney though.

My only worry is teams rarely maintain good performances/results over a season, especially clubs at our level, so a run of shit is surely headed our way shortly.
Random you worry every game

Tough but fair
We'll call it even as St Johnstone were lucky to avoid a straight red.
It was pretty obvious that the tic had identified MOH's paces a threat and cynically set out to take him out of the game.I suppose that he should take it a compliment.

I forgot how much of a hard on Saints fans had for thinking Comrie is the worst full back to have ever played the game. A ballsy claim when Rooney is getting the occasional game for them, it seems like it's almost plausible for players to improve over time.
It's absolutely possible that we can beat them, likewise I'd imagine it's about as good a draw as the Saintees could've hoped for (outwith Alloa), I'm looking forward to it, been years since we've had anything approaching a cup run so it should be a good occasion, I predict it will be a very tight and cagey affair with few goals.
Again I think you will find that was mainly Random..I for one thought that Comrie had a lot of potential. He had a couple of bad games which destroyed his confidence and so it was probably best that he had a fresh start somewhere else..

Ah well lads at least you have Random obsessing over you to look forward to over the next few weeks.....There will no doubt be a lot of tedious stats coming your way..Enjoy

Watch this space.. I have it on very good authority that Tommy Wright has already been approached and wants Jimmy Nicol in as his No2

Jeez when did St Johnstone fans get so sensitive. It was in poor game in pretty poor conditions, on a pretty poor pitch. I thought Saints were very lucky to finish the game with 11 men and yes we’ve had our share of “tough guys”, you can though still comment on poor tackles. Don’t think there is that much between the two teams with both capable of finishing top six dependant on injuries. A game though to forget.
Yes very lucky considering that your hammer throwing players had already put two of our players in hospital..Has your manager ever thought of trying to take us on at football for a change ?

A member of the Celtic coaching staff when Watt was there told me that he had the worst attitude of any player that he had ever coached. He said that there is no doubt that Watt has plenty of skill but he was lazy in training and arrogant when pulled up about it.
