This is very simple the golf is a 4 day event, they are selling the pink gin all over the place, the course, kiosks, club house, pubs,Hospitality Fecking everywhere.
They count the dosh not the stock,The wee jobsworth doesn't relies this he doesn't put a foot wrong to straight laced to piss anybody off plus it's only a 4 day job.
The pink gin guys are selling as many units as possible within the 4 days.
Instead of skimming off the top the wee guy skims off the bottom and still gets paid.
I sold concert merchandise whilst at uni, same premise, can assure you stock was counted out and in. Didnt ever stop arseholes coming up and asking for huge discounts as if they were special and didnt have to pay the going rate. ‘Oh you’ll no miss that’ ‘what dae ye mean I cannae have the program half price’ etc. Load of self entitled wankers. Well done to the wee guy who didnt sell you it cheaper, he might be working with that company all summer at various events like the open next week and festivals etc, refreshing to see people with integrity.3 -

Labour backing a tax payer funded bid for England to host the World Cup, continuing to endear themselves to the Scottish electorate.

Clubs calling themselves senior not going down well with the basement dweller that is Pyramid News`Bogus senior` fantasists .. just chancers !! .. some clubs joining EoS calling themselves `senior` .. who, just a few weeks ago would have been a lowest level junior match.. and pure fantasy ... the term `senior` was used to distinguish `full-member` SFA clubs from `junior` and lower grades. The leagues they occupy, apart from some in SJFA or SAFA .. are known as `senior` leagues ... with nine local associations represented in SFA. Full-members in EoS are .. Burntisland Shipyard, Coldstream, Hawick.RA, Linlithgow Rose, Lothian.Thistle.HV, Preston Athletic. Clubs do not become `senior` just because they play in a `senior league` ... they have to become full-members of SFA. All these `minor` juniors have done is change lanes ... they haven`t `stepped up`.. and never will. When SJFA join in 19-20 .. what are they ? Can they be `bogus seniors` too .. ?
? Nothing there but blank space for me?0 -

It would be stupid for her to do anything but try and avoid contact. Pulling a stunt would get the "ha ha triggered" brigade coming in their pants, and the rest of the world asking who the f**k is Nicola Sturgeon.
I see the merits in both sides of the argument. It’d be good to see her say something about him that will encourage a twitter storm whilst hes on Scottish soil. To think about him seething staunchly ruining his wee break with his wee tiny hands ringing all because he hated women would be very pleasing to me. Especially when folks like May and Fluffy look weak pandering to someone who is absolutey berating them in the press and seemingly trying to assist Boris in costing her power. Everything May is doing with him makes her look desperate and weak, whereas standing up to the fucker would make any politician look good.

Just saw it, Brexit is now beyond farce.0 -
Trump comes to Europe, insults people treating them with absolute disdain, pokes his uninformed nose into domestic policies, throws around threats, so yes, let’s be critical of the protestors.
The USA is very much part of the global economy, it simply could not survive in the isolationist bubble. Maybe if the European and other leaders accepted that, collectively grew a pair and told him to f**k off then we might get somewhere.
Im not being critical of a protestor, im being critical of someone using the protest to further her own career again. Godley’s ‘did i mention im from glesga’ patter is tragic. Some of the protestors actions can be a bit cringey but they are doing it for the right reasons not to sell tickets to a festival gig.
What we really need is as you say the leaders to stand up and call him out, im saddened by Nicola missing the opportunity to do more.

As much as I hate Trump, I can’t help but think I hate Janet Godley’s ‘shtick’ more.

Sad thing is, if England do somehow win the World Cup it will be taken by many as a sign that Brexit is going to work.
Ive got an English auntie who responded to some post before the brexit ref ‘if we can come together and win ww2 we can make brexit work’. Shes a moron but this is reflective of the mindset of many brexiteers, there is absolutely no logic in their belief. Its the same as the people in the parts of the UK like wales which benefit most from EU membership voting against it for some reason, do they really think that Westminster will actually give them anywhere near the same regional funding as the EU?
Then the people who think Brexit will lead to better trade deals, does the fact big industry like Airbus, Rolls Royce, Jaguar/Landrover/BMW and many others not ring alarm bells? Even the basics of economy of scale suggest a bigger market will get a better trade deal, the concessions which we will be forced to accept for even a terrible trade deal with the US (like accepting inferior meat and poorer unsafe childrens toys etc) is anything but a good deal.
Yet blue passports.
Any person who still wants Brexit is a moron.10 -

Thank you moonster have a charles, the reprehensible mushroom supper muncher can do one.0 -
It’s not point scoring though. I don’t support any party at the moment and I’d rather Sturgeon wasn’t posting up any recommendations for the man who arguably bears the most responsibility for the reprehensible foreign policy of the United States and its allies over the last 40 years. It’s quite simple really.
It’s you who engaged in whataboutery over Labour’s courting of repressive and reprehensible dictators like I was going to dispute that. The Iraq War alone should have consigned every one of its parliamentary supporters to political oblivion and/ or imprisonment.
No whataboutery im making a point that every party has elements that others view as distasteful, however there is absolutely nothing wrong with making a recommendation of such a book.

You’re trying to make a petty point about Nicola Sturgeon recommending a book by Kissinger as if it conflates to her supporting him, she recommended a book and provided the context behind the recommendation. I’ve read and recommended books by Dulles, Marx and several others which I dont agree with but would recommend others read it. Its an attempt at point scoring as if Labour are entirely innocent of holding distasteful views and associations. Im perfectly aware that every party has folks with questionable connections but to make out that Sturgeon is rehabilitating a war criminal is lazy at best.
