Think Elvis will be our first choice RWB after the break allowing Fraser to move back to RCB.

He can also cover for Tanser if he's injured/suspended.

Sounds like Strain is going to be out for the majority of the season going by Robbo's post match comments last night but I think with Fraser providing the cover option there we won't see us rushing to bring in another Wing Back.

Offord coming back is a strange one but I imagine he'll go out somewhere else, he's maybe been recalled because Edinburgh are getting hammered every week and/or as Stu suggests maybe they can't afford his wage percentage.

Wouldn't be surprised if Aberdeen offered Baccus a PCA and if he was to agree that then the inevitable cash bid to spring him early will come in.

Elvis at RWB should be the natural choice but I think Bolton should retain his place also. We look more solid when he is in defence.

  2. To be fair we could bin all our forwards as not having the quality. However they are here because they are as good as we can get.

Stav is a mystery. Looks the part but is not getting game time.

Olusanya will never cut it at this level

Ayunga is perhaps our best striker.

Grieve bags of running and effort but not going to bag 10 goals a season.

Mandron technically sound but poorer version of Ayunga.

Jamieson young but yet to get up to speed.

I struggle to see who we can move on. Olusanya perhaps.

The rest of the team we pretty much need them all. Flynn is a bit part and not good enough but who would take him?

We may get bids for Baccus so money may come in.

Disappointing result tonight but not unexpected.

Our league season is never usually defined with games against the OF.

I was more disappointed with the last home performance against Kilmarnock.

Time to regroup and hopefully we can get another good run after the restart.

A decent run in the Scottish cup would be ideal especially with some of the other top flight teams playing catch up with postponed league fixtures.

Agree but we will need midfield reinforcements.  Baccus and O'Hara were sorely missed.

I heard a lot of criticism of Kiltie against Kilmarnock. He has been terrific this season. Felt it was a bit harsh. It’s not like he was uninterested or hiding away.

We’ve all seen far worse performances down the years but this squad is just going through a bad time.

As soon as we went a goal down the heads seemed to drop on the pitch.
Before that Killie goal they never threatened.

Something is clearly amiss at the moment. Confidence has clearly taken a hit. If we could get back to back positive results before winter break that certainly would be great.

Perhaps unlikely but write us off at your peril.

It was inevitable that we would go through such a difficult period.

Important that we all stay united in our support of the team. COYS.

Thought Kiltie had a poor game by his standards. He improved late on but didnt really get going in the first half.

To be fair with the exception of 2 or 3 the team are not playing to the same level.

Laughing at that "clear foul" on Tanser being him trying to grab back Armstrong then Armstrong falling on top of him when he lets go.

Having seen it back there was nothing in it. Tanser should have taken one for the team and brought Armstrong down.

Fair play to Killie for grabbing the goal.

Great support last night. It was a tight game with fine margins. You guys wanted it more and looked the side with confidence.

There was a few decent deliveries put in last night. The movement and willingness to attack wasn't there. Mark O Hara confidence is down he put in a hard working shift. But he had an opportunity to shoot at the edge of the box and he just flicked it back in. Last season he wouldn't have hesitate to have a crack at goal

MOH had one of his better games last night. Thought he played well.

However I agree he lacks a bit of confidence to have a shot. Hopefully he can build on last night.

I've been going on for this for weeks. Last night was no different, although when McMenamin came on he put a couple of decent deliveries in.

Might I suggest that we spend a day at training just practising delivery of crosses and corners?

It certainly couldn't make the quality any worse.

It shows how much we rely on Strain. His delivery is excellent. Tanser is good but not quite the quality of Strain. The rest pretty poor.

Thought Kiltie had his poorest game in ages.

There is no point lumping crosses into the box when our strikers dont take advantage of it. They are hanging about outside the box and dont gamble on a deep cross.

  8. Not much between the sides except Killie wanted it more.

I have no idea why we pull out of challenges so much. Our strikers never gamble on making runs either.

It is becoming more obvious that we miss Strain. He was key to opening up teams and making chances.

Thought Bolton strolled it tonight and needs to start every week.

Great support from Killie but shame about the flares etc

    We’re really missing Strain.

At the start of the season he was in great form and his deliveries were really dangerous.

For about 4 weeks (after being away with Australia) he was playing like he was carrying an injury.  And then after last international trip he picked up an injury that’s needed an op and is expected to be out for 4 months.

We need to shift a couple of the striker wages and try to get someone in in January that can play there.

Small tries hard, and has some talent, but he’s so left footed we can’t really expect him to do what Strain did as RWB.

You called it right there. Strain on form makes a massive difference. He is the key to how we play.

Only thing you missed was that we have signed Elvis to play RWB. He is not available until the 1st of Jan
