Missing Mandron. Our play lends to a target man.

That's not going to happen might be 1 IF we win but no chance of 3.
There is always a chance. Will it happen? Fibgers crossed.
Any form of win will do me

Think on paper that's definitely a successful, if relatively quiet (in terms of incomings) window.
Boyd-Munce, Taylor and Olusanya have all been more or less like new signings, all three played little to no part last season and all three have shown that they'll be important players for us this year.
Hemming has looked OK so far, not spectacular and although he made one bad error on Sunday, his command of the box has been OK and his distribution excellent. He probably is a downgrade on Carson but time will definitely tell.
Small coming back was a positive in terms of cover. We'd clearly targeted him early doors in the window and it's good we got our guy in the end.
Bolton is still a bit away from fitness but he looked his sharpest yet against Aberdeen. Glowing reviews from fans of Plymouth who say he's an English championship level defender if he could get a run of fitness.
Stav Nahmani looks like the one who may or may not work out, two goals on his debut but nothing really since. A few folk who have seen him accuse him of being a bit lazy but he's still young and in a new country. We can afford to give him time to settle.
McMenamin, you can see exactly why they were so desperate to have him as the number one target of the summer. He's very clever, very comfortable with the ball and positionally and you can see him getting a bit better with ever game.
Mika Mandron has also looked good. Not the two left-footed diddy that Motherwell fans has us believe and is pretty talented for such a big gangly guy. He'll offer a threat up top.
We're obviously going to miss Carson and Main most from all the outgoings but all in all, I reckon we've done pretty damn well on paper. Getting a fee for Brophy was amazing given most of us were just wanting us to cut our losses and actually pay him off to go. Robinson clearly thinks the squad is stronger (if lesser in number) and the main priority of keeping hold of O'Hara, Strain and Baccus is probably the most important bit of business we'll do in the window as it means that the latter two in particular will almost certainly be here for the entire season now.
All we need now is to keep hold of Robinson who honestly feels like the glue holding everything together at this point.
Ayunga returning will be a huge bonus and like a new player also.
Nahmani certainly didn't look lazy on his debut. Our level of work rate and fitness is outstanding so Robbo may be getting him up to speed.
Mandron and Toyosi have been our surprise package so far.
There is more goals in this team than last season. A few tomorrow would be great.

Keeping Robbo is more important imo. He is the key to our season.
Nervous until Hibs appoint a manager

Aberdeen just announced a new centre half. Surely if they were signing Baccus they’d have announced them together
Cannot see Baccus going anywhere. Aberdeen are bringing in a load of players but none of any quality

Not sure if I’m in the minority but I personally think Robinson would be a disaster.
If we are going the safe option I’d much rather go McInnes is possible.
Not sure Robinson has done enough to show he’d do well at a club with higher expectations.
Totally agree. Robinson should be left to stay at St Mirren for at least another 10 years

Arguably not. Still throwing a lot of crosses into the box though.
I might have had Richard Taylor ahead of him personally and perhaps one or two others (can you give a supersub Player of the Month? :D)
I would have given it to Taylor as well. Saying that i am delighted for Strain. Top player

Nice to hear Martindale talk us up before the game this weekend. Of course its all game play but fair play to him.

Robbo is not even out the door and it's silly season. Flynn won't get the gig and O'Carroll will go with Robbo if it happens.
I don't believe Robbo has taken us as far as he can. He is building us to new levels with each transfer window. He could take us further with luck.
He is however envious of bigger budgets and that is what could tempt him. Money talks but job satisfaction comes into play as well.
If he goes he will be a hard act to follow.

Robbo is not a cert to leave. There may well be interest but could be happy where he is.

More Journos joining the Robbo to Hibs story. Hmm looking a bit worrying.

The article says his buyout is £250k. So imagine you would be looking at £350k for him and O'Carroll.
If that's it's true of course
Would be looking for a billion tbh

Robinson worships the devil and should be avoided at all costs. Just pretend he doesn't exist and look elsewhere.

Hibs can feck off.
To be fair if I was looking at any manager it would be Robbo. The guy is the goat.
Would he go though.

Aaah, the old “he’s not that good anyway” when a player is linked elsewhere.
Not a dig.
Happens all the time, with every fan base.
Including Aberdeen.Picked me up wrong. I think he is a good player but I prefer Boyd Munce who I reckon is going to be a star. Baccus is quality but he can be a bit in and out of games.

I am not fussed if Baccus goes as long as we get at least 300k. CBM is a better player and would work well with O'Hara. Baccus drifts out of games and his concentration is poor.
Plenty other players we could pick up to replace him.
Saying all that I wont believe it till I see him raising a red scarf above his head.

Does he have a sell on clause. I certainly hope so.

Hate playing on the plastic pitches. Hopefully we can come away with a win

Well done Conor. Once he fully gets to grip with our game he will be a standout.
Taylor struggled to start with but he is outstanding now.

Carson made some really bad mistakes last season, the management team stuck by him. They’ll do the same with Zach, he made an error on Sunday all players make mistakes.
He’s been playing well so it would be poor management to drop him for one mistake.
Richard Taylor has been like a rolls Royce playing at centre back, but he gave away the free kick that resulted in that flukey goal.
I certainly won’t be calling for him to be dropped. The Goal was as much Tansers fault as it was Hemming. Tanser ran towards Zach and they left it to each other. If Tanser doesnt make his move then it's an easy catch.
Hemming is our number one and I don't see him being replaced.

I also thought he could have went down under the initial challenge giving Beaton a sending off decision.

If he kept stride he could have knocked it around the keeper.
Was thinking the same on Sunday. He is not a natural finisher but boy can he run.

Mandron seems to pick up a lot of knocks. We are crying out for a target man with how we are set up.
