Wonder if there are any developments on Reid

Robinson has hinted Offord to start. This lad looks the best striking prospect we have had in years.

Grieve is very mobile and can easily play wide or through the middle. Ayunga looks like he needs to get up to speed. He holds the ball up well and has a good awareness about him but he falls out of games so far. I think once Brophey is fit it gives us options but no one looks like a 15 goal a season striker. I do however think that Offord may be the player we are looking for up front Our midfield is too similar with no creative spark. Ethan has been a stand out for me so far but he doesnt create many chances. We are still a bit short in quality. Baccus may yet be a key player but he is untried at this level.

Hibs lost to Falkirk and Livvy beaten by Inverness just shows results can be a bit up and down at this stage.

Don't think anyone is calling for his head. He will be under pressure if things dont improve going into the start of the season

Except its not based on one game. Its based on his record since taking over. You may be a fan boy but the jury is out so far

Don't know how much game time ge will get for us. Robinson will be under serious pressure unless the team improves so may not risk Reid.

Very true viewpoint on where we are. Our lack of midfield depth is a real worry even when Baccus eventually comes to Scotland. There is no drive. O'Hara went missing yesterday and only Ethan stood out in midfield. We have no dig in the middle of the park. Robinson is is trying to copy the formation of Liverpool with players who are struggling. Our front 3 with the exception of Grieve dont look to have goals in them- This season is a genuine worry so far

If this is what we are selling our quality youth players for then its a disgrace. Our rivals can command way more. Really disappointed in this. We sell our players too cheaply

He was spot on but Arbroath snatched it. We lacked urgency and creativity. A few players kept going missing during the game as well. I am worried for our season but will wait and see how we fair before writing us off.

O'Hara looks a bargain so far. If he can stay fit he will get a few goals. He and Ethan looked a good pairing.

If rumours are true Zander Clark, McGrath and Gogic deals all close for them too. If that happens (or even 2 of the 3) theirs will easily be the best business at least before a ball is kicked in anger. Have to agree. Utd look to be building a decent team.

He is too busy sunning himself just now. I would genuinely push the boat out a bit for him. There may be similar out there but he fits our system perfectly

There is no way we can be judged on a pre season. Once the real action starts then we will see how poor or how good we are. I would rather have our players than Killie or St Johnstone. Time will tell but we still have Baccus and Brophey to come in and there will be one or 2 others. We will certainly not be playing 15 year olds when the real action starts. I believe this season could also see the proper emergence of Ethan.

It was a friendly nothing else. Both sides made multiple changes. We finished the game with a lot of young lads while the changes made Northampton better. Not too fussed with result. I feel the new players looked promising especially Gallagher, Ayunga and O' Hara. Ethan looked a player at last. He strolled it and never put a foot wrong or a pass. Add a bit of steel behind him and O'Hara and it looks promising. Hoping Robinson can add a couple more but the young lads will do a job.

O'Hara playing well alongside Ethan. Still think we lack a Gogic type of player.

Where is Brophey, Main etc?

Need to get him.on a pro deal asap and make some money on him
