Big changes this week I’m hearing, Heaton won’t be leaving permanently either
That makes sense in the off chance he develops.

Congratulations in that case. I can't remember the last time we had a genuinely positive transfer window.
Our last one surely trumps any you've ever had. Stubbs is a kunt.

Its going to be an interesting transfer window . Whichever team recruits best probably stays up.

Well thank Christ that is over............let the big clear out, rumoured signings and hope begin.
You said it. I'm still amazingly optimistic after 5 months of hell that we can somehow escape.
Blind faith.

Some season and achievement to go top at this stage. Hope you keep this run going as long as possible (not Dec29th though).

Love St. He was absolutey destroyed by the North Bank and I remember him being subbed after he miscontrolled an easy pass right in front of the NB.
He was shell shocked
Must be the old age kicking in. Unless it happened there also.

I know i know. My 14 year old heart was broken and it hasn't recovered. It was the fact he was one of my favourite players too, moving to our direct rivals from the title season.
Now players come and go nearly every season but back then loyalty was still a big thing in football.
Never seen a player get a roasting like that day he came back to Love Street, before or since. Was it not East End Park he got his roasting? So much so he got subbed.

This. I'm struggling to remember many of these types who make a success of it up here. They generally spend six months trying to get up to speed before slinking back down south.
Talking of which , how's Tony Watt getting on ?

Kellerman was pushed out the door on loan by Stubbs for no other reason than he was a JR signing. He’s definitely got potential and I would be happy to see him given a chance in January.
Every player deserves their chance , including all the Stubbs signings. No doubt come January , some won't make the grade.

I'm not a fan of Gus , but it what it is. I just hope there's a clear line between his (Gus) duties and OK's. After the last few months, the last thing we need are more character clashes. Hopefully he'll be very much in the background.

I'm already hearing the choruses of -"you fucked up the league, and you fucked up the cup , there's nothing left for youse to f**k up !
H E A R TS Blah blah , f'n blah.
Let's face it , St Mirren will probably finish above you.

If Kearney had been appointed in the summer you'd maybe be welcoming Stubbs as your new manager now...
Based on what exactly?

Are the middle two David Winnie and Les Fridge-Freezer?
Wilson and Fridge. Sounds like a 70's comedy double act.

I don’t think Rice is a bad coach but Jackson on the other hand is a repellent wee scrote. The players apparently loathe him.
Jackson will definitely be gone I imagine.
Rice has a decent reputation, I suppose that decision will come down to the new manager , and if he wants his own staff in.

Correct decision to just go through with it going into the international break IMO. Questions have to be asked of the board, however, with the way this has been handled.
1) Three year contract? Surely one would've sufficed considering Stubbs' last job went so horribly wrong. Imagine showing that faith and then packing it in after 12 weeks.
2) The Kenny Miller situation - why were the board providing funds for that but not for other areas? Granted, Stubbs would probably have opted for yet another central midfielder.
Also concerning that the BoD have been sniffing around McIntyre long before today, with him knocking back the Falkirk job.
Supposedly we only need to pay a years wages to pay him off. Hopefully the compensation we got for Jack Ross will cover it.

From that sounds of it St Mirren are looking for between 10k-50k roughly the same we paid for Sibbald - so not that much money
No chance.

We were not very competitive against Livi if you honestly think this team is possibly going to avoid automatic relegation you are seriously deluded.
You said the same thing 2 seasons ago. You said last season we had no chance of winning the league.
On the strength of your predictions, I feel pretty optimistic about our chances of staying up.

You may be remembering it better than I am. I initially thought you were talking about a different game, it's only then it's twigged. I thought our goals came from Parkin and (Josh) Magennis. Actually to be fair I didn't remember it as being Parkin at all until I checked out the report. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/20053690
Magennis scored that night alright, just for a different team.
To be fair, results and decent performances up there have been few and far between. I've witnessed very few victories at Pittodrie over the years.

He's a tidy enough player but like a few we currently have, he's not good enough at this level. Decent enough Championship player.
