The pitch at SMISA stadium to be waterlogged for the season due to TEARS.
Aberdeen- just above the relegation playoff spot with no wins.
Saints - joint top and bossed the supposed 3rd force in Scotland for 90 mins.
I'll sleep tonight thanks.

If wullie tash says the Saints deserved to win, you know it was 6 going on 1 ( not including the questionable SFA).

The Motherwell fans will be asking why Marley Watkins didn't get a straight red card for that challenge.

I wish all the best to the Aberdeen strikers on Sunday .

Really can't see us losing this one for a few reasons-Aberdeen's back to back Euro games, the run we're currently on is down to decent form, and we're at home.
Win this and we're 8 points clear of our opponents-should be a massive incentive.
Saints 2- Dons 1 (or 2).

I am not going to knock Kearney, but he was a bit of a gamble to take after Stubbs, and one that just paid off. I take your point that one bad decision can f**k you over, but Stubbs was launched early on. Kearney, had a good 8 months or so, with a window to mould the team. As I say, I won't knock Kearney, he achieved what he needed to - survival, but it wasn't Stubbs' fault we ended up in the relegation play off's. At least not fully.
It certainly wasn't Oran Kearneys fault we ended up in the playoffs.

I've already looked at the trains. Obviously need to take extra-time into consideration, but the last one bound for Glasgow departs at 23:45.
I think we'll take a decent support with us.
Unfortunately i can't make it. Hopefully some sort tv coverage.

The Hibs cup game is midweek so will probably effect the support we take through.
Winnable game.

Mon the Killie, touching distance now.

I thought at the time yesterday that Dunne's challenge wasn't a bad one. Wins the ball but maybe slips a little just at contact which maybe made it look like it was 2 footed. A yellow at worst.
Sour grapes from Kettlewell given that his team had just been given a lesson for the majority of the game.

3 decades or longer our bitches. For clubs that are apparently comparable in size that is quite frankly fucking embarrassing.
Then they have a season or two of a few positive results and they come over all world beaters. Everyone can see it won’t be long before they disappear into their normal obscurity. The sooner the better.
Hope you get the Old firm in the next round .

I actually thought Dunne slipped just before going into the "tackle". Don't think he meant to go in with 2 feet.
As for the game, we thoroughly deserved the win.
Easy.

What is the Motherwell quotient in Paisley nowadays, there seemed to be some exits over the summer, is it mainly on the management/admin side now?
Although St Mirren have never exceeded our top league points total in any season since 1989, they have had some success in the cups.
Time for Motherwell to win a cup tie. Feels odd that it’s a Saturday for a League Cup game.
How many ex Saints do Motherwell have ? 2 that i can think of - McGinn and Obika.
Think think will be our toughest test so far, Motherwell looked decent 2nd half yesterday.
Hopefully home advantage will see us through.
3-2 Saints.

If only Douglas Ross had been running the line all would have been fine.
A few years ago he awarded Killie a goal at St Mirren Park when footage showed he couldn’t even see the ball, yet knew without doubt it was over the line.
We need that elite level of official throughout the game.
But you forgot one thing about DRoss....

You'll be waiting a long time for that to happen
I'm calm. The goal never stood but it didn't cost us.
The referee had a howler throughout the game, so i wasn't surprised that this wasn't given.

I cant wait till your European adventure starts for real, if today was anything to go by.
Hacken win midweek unless the SFA are in charge.
