  1. Cutting tiles is sheer nectar. As is Barr Hill Gin funnily enough, 100% distilled from honey.
  2. Only way to watch the game was to sign up for a month’s subscription (or an annual one) - cancelled already obviously.
  3. Why would I bother making this up?! Am I also lying about the lack of replays, clock & camera only filming about 60% of the pitch?
  4. That Dundee stream was horrific btw - like watching a re-run of the 1979 Dryburgh Cup Final or original footage from Scott of the Antarctic’s 1912 expedition. no replays, no clock and the camera only panned over 60% of the pitch. I know it’s only Fife, but Mon tae.
  5. So I think we're in agreement though that any material changes to the administrative structure of the Ltd Company would need to be approved by 75% of the Members?
  6. Don't want to keep banging away at this but the "Club" has to be owned by someone - surely the "Club" is an asset of the Ltd Company - and therefore it is controlled (through Board appointees) by its Members?
  7. So I had a look in Companies House and I see there are no actual shareholders in the Ltd Company - however why did the Members have a vote at the EGM to go professional if they don't "own" the Club? Surely there must be something in the bye-laws / articles etc that give Members decision making authority - which is essentially ownership? Otherwise the Committee/Directors could just have voted instead of holding a EGM?
  8. But as a club owned by its Members you do have have checks and balances now. Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like you're advocating removing the Membership tier and handing over ownership in its entirety to WH? Or are you advocating a Limited Company share structure - with members being given equity in the Club for their membership? (which isn't really much of a change from now unless WH is allocated a majority of the shares)?
  9. Interesting - but the Members would have to vote to change the structure of the Club ownership. Would a majority (or a 75% majority - not sure what would be needed for such an extraordinary change) actually vote for that?
  10. FWIW, I still very much doubt that the "Debenture" "Debt" and the Lottery "Debt" would ever have been called in. I'm sure no one in the UK Lottery even was aware that they still had a lien on Hampden after all that time had passed and who was going to act on behalf of the Debenture holders? Indeed, can anyone provide some transparency on the Hampden Debentures - I, unusually, can find no evidence of a secondary market for them and there is nothing about them whatsoever on the SFA Website.
  11. If we hire someone with the recent compensation expectations as Jack Ross then Willie Haughey is going to have to double his current financial commitment to the Club. I reckon that money would be much better spent on quality players.
  12. given that WH is calling all the shots, does that render the current President, Committee & Membership structure moot?
  13. This. When will be get some transparency?
  14. Does seem bizarre - what matters can be that "sensitive" at a football club? Also don't like "we were told to" which smacks of Dictatorialism.
  15. Did the Meeting go ahead last week? Did I miss the updates etc from it? Anything of note come out of it?
  16. I see the AGM is to be held in the Hampden Auditorium, and not in Lesser Hampden. Any reason why?
  17. Frankly I couldn't care less tbh - I have a Cardiff friend who was much more critical of his alleged corrupt transfer activity when Manager there - but then again what Manager isn't taking backhanders these days given the amount of money swirling around football these days. Just intrigued that more forgiveness is apparently being shown to someone who was Number 2 in Scotland's biggest Drugs Gang, encumbered with all the physical violence & intimidation that that position necessarily entails. Interesting times.
  18. I'm curious to know if the people who won't ever forgive MM have the same opinion on David Martindale, the Livi Manager?
  19. I think it's time for full transparency from the Club re Haughey's financial involvement and underwriting of contracts / stadium construction etc. Can't think of a better opportunity for that than the AGM. The fact that a date for that has not been set already is concerning in itself.
