Cider is for wankers?
That's a decent point. That sort of advert would surely put people off the product, cider or otherwise. Even if it was for an over-50 funeral plan.

That Strongbow advert with the two crap bearded singers murdering Electric Dreams makes me want to pan in the telly. What's worse is the punters in the pub actually singing along when in reality if that singing happened they'd get bottled off. And what's it got to do with cider anyway??

there's just no goals at all in the team.
We relied to a significant level on the 20 - 25 yarders from Dom Thomas and Ross Forbes last year. When both left I posted my fears about the lack of goals for the new season only to be told, by one poster in particular, that finding replacements would be easy enough. We're still waiting.
Maybe Saturday will show us that we're wrong to get concerned and the 5-0 victory against Raith will include three 30 yard thunderbolts, an Ibrahimovic style overhead kick and a Maradonna style solo goal.
It's ok. I've already made an appointment with my GP.

Pretty sure I know who you mean.... if it happens again fling the acronym HMRC into the conversation and gauge the reaction.
I'll get his name soon enough. It was my pal that knew him so I'll drop him a line and find out who this masked marauder really is.

Or is that the case? Are there any born and bred Scots up there who actually like, or admire the guy?
Worryingly, yes. I was speaking to a very working class guy in a pub in Dumbarton on Saturday who said of Johnson: " he's the only one that'll get the job done". He also spoke of admiration for Donald Trump and Margaret Thatcher...

I suppose I was brought up in a council house...
For the record, I don't leave teabags in the sink, but just noticed over the years that some people get significantly annoyed by it. And any food in my sink gets dealt with by the Insinkerator.

Because teabags don't just fall there accidentally unlike the bits of food. Some lazy b*****d has just dropped them there rather than move a couple of feet to drop them in the bin instead.
So it's the attitude of the perpetrator rather than the challenge of the clean-up operation?? The language used in the two responses to this have compounded my perception that this offence produces a disproportionately angry response. I think I'd take cover in these houses if someone wiped up the dog's piss with the kitchen cloth.

Cos when someone comes to do the dishes they need to pick up these cold soggy teabags and chuck them in the food recycling when some lazy b*****d could've just done that in the first place?I was right when I said it annoyed some people. I don't get it - when the sink filter catches bits of food that have been washed off the pots no-one bats an eyelid. But when it's a teabag...

This doesn't bother me at all but seems to make other people nearly vomit:
used teabags dumped in the sink.
Why does that so upset some people?

I disagree. Crawford at right back was by far our worst player.
