Considering our 2 GF and 21 GA in 5 games against the Old Firm this season, I'm not exactly counting down the hours for this one. Incidentally, have we ever had a worse GD versus both of them over the course of a season?

Enjoyable win and largely deserved, though I reckon without that penalty it would've been a frustrating goalless draw.

Good half from us I thought, just frustrating we couldn't get that goal. I can't tell if McCowan's being marked out of the game but he's been largely absent. Seems to have let Tiffoney roam though and he's been tricky. Costelloe defending well at RWB and suffice it to say that I love Mo Sylla.
Aberdeen not up to much aside from some nice Miovski play early on. You can see wee glimpses in their counters of the quality that should be there, but the confidence just looks sapped. Hope the momentum stays how it is, but you never get two halves being the same at Dens.

Getting annoyed how these announcements are coming later and later every year now. We played once in the purple shirts last season (a memorable performance for sure) and I'll be surprised if we see these ones any more than that much.
Also, a black kit is probably the only colour dumber than purple as our third kit. I'm sure it'll look decent as we've had a streak of good kits, but still silly.
Apart from that, can't wait.

It's a good level for any 17-year old to be getting regular game time, and the experience will be invaluable I reckon. Also glad to see Rayan Mohammed grabbing another goal, bit of fortune about the setup with some comical Clyde defending causing a tap-in (I think his other goal was similar too), but both goals have been important and I assume he's already having more of an effect than Mutale did?
Results-wise it's looked from a distance that 2024 has started very well for Forfar (Peterhead collapse aside), so of course the moans change instead to the kits
Seriously though, I totally agree. Pendle is gash and despite my love of navy, it just doesn't look right as a Forfar home kit. I do quite like the concepts posted above, some actual thought put into the kits for a change.

Just saw @Ludo*1 asking Forfar fans about if Allan might be ready for our first team next season, so I feel I should clarify on him. When I said Allan was one of my most anticipated youth prospects yet to break through, I wasn't meaning that I thought he'd break through next season like Luke Graham could. The fact that he is not even 18 years old yet though and is having a positive impact in senior football excites me greatly, every time I've seen him he's had that creative spark that shows him to be a proper playmaker in the making.
Hopefully he can get a look-in in the League Cup next season, but Allan will regularly be away on loan for the next few seasons in the same ways as Mulligan and Cameron.

Been very impressed with him on loan at Montrose, and has also regularly captained our reserve side this season. He and Finlay Allan are probably my two most anticipated players yet to break through.

Raith were total shite in that first half hour, but you knew they wouldn't pass up that chance and have been in charge since the goal.
Dunfermline definitely look like a McPake team, can play it around but struggle to make use of all the possession. I totally see how big a miss Kane is.
